Reviews
"Hermann Park is a massive green space in middle of Houston with lots of sidewalks, hills, trails, gardens, event venues such as the amphitheater, golf course, water features, ponds, lakes, and rolling hills for kids to roll down and play on. All is very well maintained and has a secure feeling when you are walking around. Museum of Natural History and the zoo are in the park as well. It's so big it would take several days to really walk it all."
"The park's tranquility created an intimate atmosphere, allowing for a peaceful and healing escape. The cleanliness of the surroundings added to the overall charm, making it a perfect spot for relaxation. Highly recommend for those seeking a quiet retreat amidst nature. The lush greenery at Hermann Park felt meticulously cared for, enhancing the overall experience. The well-maintained vegetation added a touch of vibrancy and contributed to the park's inviting atmosphere. It's evident that the attention to detail in nurturing the green surroundings significantly enhances the park's charm."
"A great park to walk, run or just to enjoy. We were lucky enough, to enjoy a beautiful day with sunshine and the day after Christmas. A lot of people were on this spot, to enjoy their day of. Even whole families made their way around their. Its park also includes a beautiful Zoo, opera a running Hill, botanical garden, big fountain and museums."
"This has to be one of the best parks in Houston I have visited many times. There's so much to do and see in this park that each time I visit it i discover something new. There are wild animals like ducks and squirrels you can admire and gaze at. This perk has a reflective pool just like in Washington DC which is amazing and looks beautiful. It also has a Japanese garden which is super cute and quaint. It also has a mini train for the children to ride and it goes all around the park. It also has picnic tables to enjoy with the family or friends you go with that day. The restrooms are super clean and well maintained which is something all the parks in Houston should have at least. The nature is beautiful and everyone in Houston has to come at least once and enjoy this park."
"Beautiful park with plenty of family activities and solo activities to do!! There is the zoo, Japanese garden, butterfly center, and cafe around this area. It gets pretty busy on a weekend morning due to families coming in for the zoo. If you are just visiting for the park attractions I recommend seeking parking closer to the outskirts of the park and leaving zoo traffic run itβs course towards the middle of the park. Included some photos of the reflection pool, ponds, and Japanese garden"
