"I took my 2001 Chevrolet here because the transmission was slipping. I was told that I needed to get the transmission rebuilt and needed a new torque converter. So I spent upwards of $2,700 far from their listed $1,485 special. I would have been fine with it if they would have fixed it. I drove it away and noticed that it still wasn't shifting smoothly. I took it back three times and they never repaired it correctly. It would throw a specific code that stated the transmission was slipping which they said was most likely the computer that needed replaced. Now two years later and the transmission has cratered and needs a complete rebuild. I can gaurantee I will never do business with them again and pray that others stay as far aware from Mr. Transmission as possible."

"BAIT AND SWITCH! Transmission failed on my Lincoln with 315,000 miles. This is a very common transmission. The guy who owns this place has been in the transmission business since 1985 so his estimates should be dead on. He told me 3 times that the estimate was what they stated on the website and there "shouldn't be a problems". When the car was done the price was now $700 higher. I asked him for a break down of the price and he said "we don't do that". Only thing he could say is that it needed a new torque converter. EVERY TRANSMISSION with 300,000+ miles gets a new Torque Converter when it's rebuilt, ask any transmission shop. A new one is around $300. He also tried to stop me from using the $100 coupon from the website. Said "it needs to be printed out". Mind you this is the owner of the place. So I offered to run down to Office Depot and print it out. Exactly 12 months later, at the end of the warranty period, the transmission failed again. Took it back to them and they said that a solenoid was stuck. According to them they "tried WD-40 and everything" but it wouldn't unstick so they replaced it. This is a $30 part. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Ronnie has been doing this since 1985. Read his replies - he knows all the angles. Just stay away. Edit after their reply: No, you didn't boost the coupon. I actually never printed it. I talked Ronnie into accepting it without printing since it's right there on the website ($100). This was Dec 2019 not 2021 and I bought a 2 year warranty so you did me no favors. You guys are dishonest."

"So far my truck is running smoothly. I specifically told them not to remove my original catalytic converters and they did. I ask for the original ones back but they couldn't find them so now I have Generic brand on my truck. I had my original transmission rebuilt because I didn't want a use one. Overall truck riding great. I still listening for noises."
