Economy Collision Specialist

"My daughter was in a car accident 10/14/2022 in my car. Economy Collision Specialist owner Marc received the car on 10/17/2022 to start the repair. The insurance gave him 5 days total to have it completed. To date 2/22/2023 the repairs have not been done. He received all the money upfront by the insurance and I believed used it on drugs. Because his business is not approved by the insurance once the check was cut nothing could have been done. I chose this place based on reviews, recommendation and the location near my home. I have filed a police report for theft b/c the vehicle was not at the shop when I requested to pick it up and go elsewhere for repairs in 12/2022. I made 5 unexpected visit and no car. Marc made a promise to refund the money within 3 days once the police arrived and I have not heard from him. As of 2/17/2023 I have received and estimate from a different Collision place and outer damage is more than 3k. I’m still awaiting an estimate for the mechanical under the hood. Marc with Economy Collision did not work on my car in good faith or uphold any professional service. There was a lack of communication as well as a lack of confidence the job would be done. Marc was not able to produce any receipts to myself of the two HPD officers who arrived. Items were stolen out of the car and it appears some other damages were done. In my last conversation to Marc he had only replaced the bumper and was awaiting parts for under the hood. Marc conducted insurance fraud by submitting for a supplement to receive additional money once the bumper was taking apart and never using it towards the repair. He is very conniving."
