"They Are Great On Turn Around Time."

"Boy, was I wrong for taking my truck here, thinking it’s Freightliner I’d figure they’d be the best to work with. October 1st my truck will clock 8months in the shop. They did mention it’ll take 2/3 months so i check in with them in JULY 12th I was told they forgot they even had my truck and no one had worked on it bc the person who was working on my truck had a family emergency and left the country for a month. OKAY i check back in SEPTEMBER 12th and that the truck is almost done but THEY FORGOT to add some stuff on the invoice and the insurance maxed out already so they can’t pay anymore. This leaves me with an invoice, on a fault Freightliner made for not including it on the original estimate for the insurance. I mention the truck industry has been bad, which gave them the benefit of me not putting pressure on them to hurry with the truck. That being said I don’t have the funds to pay for the mistake they did for not including repairs on the insurance estimate. I was told “this will lead to a Mechanical Lean on the truck if the truck sits here longer.” Not sure how to take all this in just know I’m really disappointed. Didn’t expect this from a Major brand to have mistakes like these and put it on the customers. I’d suggest take your business else where, support small Body shops instead. #lessonlearned"
