"Someone hit my entire left side in a TMC parking garage from the fender all the way to then backseat door. The biggest dent on on the fender and driver door, the rest were some big scratches. It was a quick turnaround I was able to get my car after 3.5 business day. It’s beautiful now, looks new again. I got an estimate from Geico and they way underestimated the repair cost just because I’m a female and didn’t think I would understand and made it seem like my only options to fix my car was just filling it with putty and painting it.. I felt like the Geico person didnt understand what he was even talking about himself. Geico didn’t think it was a big deal. This was my first car that I got on my own as an adult, I love my car and wanted it to be taken cared of. The Geico person just tried to down play it and said it’s not that bad. I don’t care if it doesn’t look bad to you, I just wanted it to be fixed completely and not some shotty work. The Geico person also wanted me to pay $501 deductible after I told him my story and knew my deductible was only $250. He kept saying to just pay them upfront $501 and Geico would return me the difference later. That didn’t sound right to me, So I didn’t trust Geico with my car to leave it with their preferred body shop. So I wanted to find some one that I could trust with my car, listen to what I wanted and imports to me about my car, and took in my concerns seriously. A friend had recommended TOB auto body shop. I decided to go with them for my repairs instead of Geico’s because when I took my car to get an estimate I felt like Vu really cared about the quality in repair. He explained every step to me and what should be done. And when I explained to him that even though the deductible said $501, it should just be $250. He understood what I was explaining to him, and that it might just be a filing error on Geico’s end. He even called the person at Geico handling the case himself to clarify and make sure they fixed it in the file to reflect that the deductible is $250 and not $501, instead of just trying to take $500 from me upfront. I’m very pleased with their work and how nice and trusting it was to work with them. Thank you for treating me and my car with respect and not trying to take advantage and treating me like a human. I might not know a whole lot about cars but can understand if they’re willing to explain it to me like Vu did. "There is honestly NOT another body shop that I would recommend!!! My car was rear-ended causing a 3-vehicle accident, where it was sandwiched between two 4x4 pickup trucks. Not to mention the uphill battle that I had in working with the at-fault party's insurance was a pain that no person should be subjected but I digress. The service that I received while working with TOB Auto Body is second to none. This shop not only offered me the overall best pricing but I could tell upfront that this was a body shop that truly focused on the quality of their work. I was astounded by the professionalism and openness to share cost-effective recommendations, rather than gouging for top dollar. Tony took the time to offer up many insights on dealing with the other party's insurance, provided a detailed breakdown of what needed to be done to restore my vehicle to pristine condition, and made certain to keep me in the loop throughout the different phases of repair, whether via photos or a quick call. Totally unrelated to this case but he was even able to recommend a glass repair shop that could replace the windshield on my fiance's car for a fraction of the cost that we were originally quoted. In fact, because the insurance company (who were terrible in their responsiveness throughout) stated that I would need to pay upfront and be reimbursed in the end for a rental, TOB Body shop offered up an available rental vehicle so that I would not personally have to wrestle with the insurance company for reimbursement after the fact. As expressed in the beginning, TOB Auto Body was amazing every step of the way and made the whole process very painless.
