"When Carla, the head of the place is yelling at me over the phone, it is very unprofessional. I am upset because after reading my homeowner's policy in detail, my roof was only insured for 40% of its replacement. No one at the agency had told me about this after many phone calls. I felt deceived and uninsured. I cannot afford $6000 to $8000 for 60% of the roof if we get hail in Texas. I said I would pay more to insure it 100%, but was told that the roof was 19 years old and they would not do that. And I had had a roofing company go up on my roof to evaluate it and was told it is in great shape. Allstate makes you pay your year policy in the first 6 months. At this time I have paid for the year and do not trust they will repay for any unused time. I am looking for a new insurance carrier, after having USAA cover my roof for 100% of its value. Allstate's policy was so cheap, I should have known it was a scam and not equal to my prior coverage. Good thing I read my policy in detail, prior to needing it after a storm!! I just got an apology on Jan.22, 2021 from Carla, who runs this agency. Funny, since this happened so long ago. It shows to me that Allstate and Carla are more interested in their reviews, then they are their customers!!!!"
