"I am so sad to be making this review, after my first experience getting my nails done I thought I found a salon that I wanted to be a regular at until…. They have a policy to fix chipped nails within 10days, on day 7 I booked a chipped nail service with the same nail artist that did my original set. I showed up 5 minutes early per the booking request waited for just under 15 minutes. Once Christina came to get me I could tell she was not happy to be doing the free chipped nail service she then proceed to tell me she doesn’t have time to put the nail art back on the nail for the time slot I booked (they have my account knowing what is on my nail and the booking does not say it excludes nail art) when I told her my nails would look crazy with all my nails having nail art on them except for the one and it only being a nude base. I pleaded with her to please put something on the nail anything so it’s not my only nail to be plain. I told her I have another Christmas party to go to and a New Year’s party that I wanted my nails to look nice for and she responded with “who is going to be looking at your nails anyways” as a nail artist I would think you would hope everyone is looking at my nails. By this point I am crying because I HATE confrontation. I try my hardest to be a good customer and not a pain, I show up on time, tip over 20%, and am pretty easy going. I have never experienced customer service this bad, I can’t speak about the other nail artist but for Christina her nail art is good but customer service is 0. She told me I could leave and rebook a longer time slot, but I was on my lunch break and had already driven across town 15minutes to be there and have kids in childcare that I have to pickup. After going back and forth with the manager another nail artist ended up doing a design for me that was more elaborate than what was originally on my nail and it took her 3 minutes to do the design, cure , top coat, and cure. So in the time that Christina argued that my nail was fine with just the nude base she could have put the art on my nail. I know a free service is probably not the ideal way to spend your time but I would have tipped her for her time. As I was leaving I heard the staff talking about how Christina’s next client was going to be an hour late due to confusion on when her appointment time was. After I was done I was told to wait at the front to be checked out (free service mind you) so I thought it was just for the Manager to make sure everything came out ok but I wait for over 5 minutes and nobody ever came. For only taking appointments and no walk ins they are still very scattered."
"Nail tech did not have the skill set to do my nails. I just wanted a rhinestone on each nail and she said it was too elaborate and she would not have time. Ridiculous, would give 0 stars if possible. EDIT: in response to the business owner, I had an appointment at 1:00, and I did book extra time for nail art. YOUR STAFF was not trained in nails (which she admitted to the person I brought with me) and she did not have the skills to do the art I wanted, please do not lie so blatantly on the internet."
"This is the best nail salon in all of Lubbock! I have been going here for over 2 years and have enjoyed every minute of my appointments! The best part about this place is there is no toxic smell, no harsh chemicals, and everything is highly sterilized. The staff treats you like family and you will enjoy the large selection of colors! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!"
"*Edited Review - My husband and I went in for a pedicure where the atmosphere was crowded, hot, and overwhelmingly uncomfortable. When we expressed our discomfort and that we would not be getting a pedicure, we were charged anyways, as a 'no show.' This is something we had no control over when confirming the appointment, nor can turning down the AC change the atmosphere in a matter of minutes, as they offered. There was definitely no Christmas spirit and I won't be supporting local again in this shop. I am saddened by this experience but want to share mine so that others can avoid such poor customer service/support. July 2023 - Loved everything about this pedicure! We would have gotten a manicure, too, had time allowed. There is a small selection of boutique style attire, scents, and jewelry."
"Peyton did the best pedicure!! She was able to get all of my ingrown toenails taken care of and my feet have never been so soft and smooth!"
