Reviews
"The service at Carstar UCF Automotive has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them for Tesla repairs. Highly recommended for their exceptional service and expertise."
"We had our truck repaired at UCF and couldn’t be more pleased with the results. It was great working with Paul, he’d keep us updated on details, estimated dates and was easy to communicate with. This is our second vehicle repair here and we’re happy to recommend this place."
"UCF was very helpful throughout the process of repairing my car. They kept me informed what was happening and did a great job. I have often recommended them."
"We brought our vehicle here for repair on August 22. We were told it would take 3 weeks. We got updates at end of week 1. Then nothing. For weeks. All calls were left unanswered and went to voicemail with no calls returned. We had to get our insurance to contact UCF and they kept getting a date a few days out as to when our vehicle would be ready. It was blamed on one missing part. Our insurance was told the part was finally being shipped and our vehicle would be ready Wednesday, Oct 4 (weeks after our car rental insurance had run out and we were balancing a 5 person family with 2 40 hour per week working parents with commute jobs and balancing 3 teenager extracurriculars on one car) . Yet when I contacted them, and finally demanded the receptionist send me to a real person since no calls were returned, and was sent finally to their estimator, we were told by him the part was not shipped and the update was that it would ship on Saturday. He told me if it still looked on track, they would do the dissassembly on Friday, so as soon as they got the part on Monday October 9 they could install it and vehicle be ready later. He promised to send me daily updates. He updated on Thursday still same date. No update on Friday, I reached out on Monday and he said part had shipped but would not arrive at shop until Tuesday Oct 10. Based on his earlier estimate I assumed that meant our car would be ready on Wednesday. The part was a radiator support. On Wednesday I asked if car would be ready and he said no, because they had to paint the part (which goes under the car and is not visible) first. Vehicle would not be ready until Friday Oct 13. I contacted him at 9 am today to see if still on track. No reply, but message showed as read. Started calling again around 2, all phones went to voicemail. Messaged the estimators whose number I had, nothing. Tried 3 different phone numbers for the business and could only get a phone menu that goes to repeat the menu or a voice message line, no people. At this point I am wondering if I need to contact the police. Stay AWAY from this shop. Do NOT trust them with your vehicle. Go somewhere else. Also update that the owner responded to a similar review with a number to call to make it right and avoid this in the future below, that is one of the numbers I have been calling for weeks with no reply. And if you "press 2 for collision" it just repeats the menu options."
"I hate to give a business a low review but this is my honest review and hope to help people make their best choice. So I worked with Mike when I dropped of my car told me it will take 4 to 6 weeks to fix your car depending on parts. Super nice guy kept me informed about everything. He made me drop off the $12K for the repair within the first week of them having the car. He said that they ordered all the parts and his boss needs to have the money first. So I went ahead and dropped of the check. 2 weeks later I get a call from Mike that all your parts are in and your car should be ready within 3 to 5 weeks. I'm like great let me know when the car is ready for pickup. 5 weeks go by I get no update. I kept calling Mike but no answer and no call back from the voicemails I left him (voicemail didn't state he is no longer with UCF). So I stop in and they tell me Mike is no longer with UCF. I told them that I wanted to see my car, so they walked me into their collision center and I was surprised to see 0 work was done to the vehicle after 5 weeks later . They told me they are waiting on one more part and it will take another few weeks. By this time i'm already frustrated but not much I can do since they already took 12K from me so I can't move the car to another body shop. So just waited it out and my car was finally ready after a total of 4 months instead of 4 to 6 weeks that was promised during drop off. The day my car was supposed to be ready I called the body shop and it was around 11am. I was told the car will defiantly ready today and will call me back. It is 4pm on a Friday and I have not heard back from them so I decide to pay them a visit. I get there by 4:30 and he tells me the car is ready. So I told him well I need to come back so someone else who can drive the 2nd car. He tells me that he is leaving at 5:30. while I'm driving back to the shop after I picked up someone to drive the 2nd car I get stuck in traffic. I called several times to let him know that I might not be there by 5:30 but no answer. Lucky I got there and 5:25 but if I would have got there after 5:30 I would of had to wait until Monday to get my car since this was Friday and they are closed on the weekend. I understand delays but I was extremally disappointed with the unprofessionalism by UCF and will never use their service nor will I recommend anyone else. Also a side note this was a brand new car and the car had zero hand marks when it was dropped of. I had dirt mark on all over the inside top which I believe was taken off during repair but when they put it back they didn't use gloves nor did they clean it and just left it like that. Luckily it was just hand dirt which I was able to wipe down with some wet cloth but car wasn't given back to me properly detailed"
