"The people here does not put any effort in answering your questions or trying to satisfy you."
"I bought my car here and their service is ……I don’t know how to describe. My window is broken and if I want to fix it I have to pay the full fee before they repair. Is it should be they fix first and I pay? If I don’t pay then they can keep the car. Their rule is interesting. And they are not willing to work with progressive insurance for whatever reason."
"Be cautious. Received multiple “additional critical services required” notices from them following a customary inspection totaling near $1k. Took the car to multiple other shops for multiple other opinions on the report provided. No other shop thought any additional work was needed or even desirable at all. Couldn’t even figure out the basis for the report. Buyer beware - borderline highway robbery."
"I love my Volvo but am beginning to really dislike this dealership. I live a fair distance from the dealership but have an event close to the dealership in a couple of weeks. So given gas prices and time constraints I called the dealership last week to schedule basic services (oil change, tire rotation etc) that my car was due for while I was going to be in the area and was told service has to be more than 2 hours to get a loaner which I needed in order to attend the event I was coming to the area for. Yesterday, I scheduled online for service but added services (oops I forgot that the inspection was due too) which exceed the two hour window I was told needed to get a loaner. I was immediately called and told no I could not have a loaner. They are reserving them for those over two hours (but wait my services requested are over that time limit??) and was told "well it does not matter since we don't have cars unless you have a mechanical breakdown". The gentleman was BEYOND RUDE!!! He never let me finish a sentence or statement, even after I asked him to let me speak. I don't have time to let people waste my time much less to disrespect me. But the absolute icing on the cake that sent me over the edge was the email I received this morning - You may be due for maintenance We hope you’ve been enjoying every mile behind the wheel of your Volvo. We recommend that your vehicle be serviced annually or at the recommended mileage interval, whichever comes first. Allow our team of factory-trained technicians to complete any necessary care, using only Volvo Genuine Parts and precision tools. Schedule your appointment today, and we’ll make sure you’re ready for the road ahead. We'll pick up your Volvo and provide a loaner. Guess the marketing team and the service team don't know how to communicate. Nor does the service team scheduler."
"I had been coming to West Volvo for maintenance for a couple of years without issues. This time I was appalled by the lack of apparent care for customers. I scheduled my 30k mile service in advance and specifically asked for a loaner vehicle and scheduled my appointment as such (at least so I thought). I arrived promptly at my appointment time; the service rep was evaluating my vehicle for things I hadn’t requested right of the bat. We discovered he grabbed the paperwork from a different customer… ok, no biggie as he caught it after just a little while. Then when I asked about my loaner he said there wasn’t one reserved for me. Mind you, this is my day off, I live some distance from the dealership and I have a class to attend. He explained that even though the attendant who made the appointment put in a note that I requested a loaner, the car wasn’t ‘officially’ booked. They’re low on loaner cars. ok… i get it, but I was promised one and I planned my day around it. Their shuttle wouldn’t take me to my class as it only goes on a 5 mile radius and I was outside of it. I talked to the manager hoping there was something to do (or at least some way to make up for the mistakes on their part). Nothing. ‘Sorry m’am, we have no loaners. You can wait here or reschedule’. There was zero compassion; treated like you don’t matter and you have to eat their mistakes. Mind you, the lot is full of cars I could ‘test drive’, OR they could make an exception and shuttle me regardless of the distance (it was only 15 miles away btw). I left saying I will take my business elsewhere, and I did. Not coming back here if I can help it. I am already getting better service scheduling at another Volvo dealer; feeling like you are respected and treated as a fellow human. Dear West Volvo service manager: I realize you cannot always make things right, but at least TRY to do something to make your customer feel better about coming back after your mess ups."
