"Do not use Home Depot for patio doors. They took down my order wrong and failed to mention that they knew one of the doors would not pass TDI inspection. So 6 weeks later when the doors arrived, they told me there was a problem because it wouldn't pass TDI. And to add to that, the doors were already scratched up."
"We had laminate flooring installed. The price was good, the service fantastic, and the installation was professionally done. It took a little over a week for the order to be shipped to the store but the money saved and the price of the quality product offset the wait. I would recommend getting a quote from them if you're getting new floors."
"If I could give it negative stars I would. Went to buy a water heater, walked around the store trying to find someone/anyone that could help me. Went to customer service not once but twice to get someone to help me and even after that NO ONE showed up! Walking back from my second trip to CS I heard a man say, "gosh, you can't find anyone that works here"!! Another man on the next isle was trying to find someone to help him with garage door openers and he eventually left. After about 30 minutes of waiting someone finally showed up! She was nice, apologetic and very helpful. However, it states if you order a water heater before 12 they will install it the same day and someone will call you 2-4 hrs after ordering to confirm a time. It's now 5 hrs later and still no call. Our water heater was ordered at 10 am. The only thing going for this store is the older man who greeted me and the lady that helped me, other than that this store is horrible!! It's unfortunate Lowes doesn't carry Rheem because LOWES is way better! UPADTE: our order was never called in before 12 therefore we won't get same day installation! DO NOT ADVERTISE SOMETHING IF YOU CANNOT STICK TO IT!!"
"This has got to be the worst HD experience I have had in my life!!!! Not kidding and I was an actual loyal customer. Ordered two doors in November 2015 and that's where the problem started, they overcharged me and ordered 3 doors and door trim pieces that were not needed. Installers showed up with 3 doors and asked where the 3rd door was going! The two doors that I needed were an external back door and a glass security front door. The installers put the rear external door in and were about to install the glass door when they said the door would not fit. We had the doors pre-measured using HD contractors so how did that happen. The installer measured again and I went into the store to return the 3rd door that was not needed. Initially I was told I had to pay a "restocking fee" for their mistake! That's when I first blew my head off and told them no way! I had to get a MOD (Brian) involved before things got under control and they ordered the correct front glass door, refunded my money for the extra trim. We were told the door would be in on January 21st. I had to call the store on the 21st to see if it came in and it was just sitting in "make ready" waiting on an installer. They gave me the installers number and told me I could set up the appointment. I left several messages and no return call. Called the store and blew my head off for the 2nd time! Finally get the door scheduled for installation. Installer comes out and says this door would not fit as well! THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE AS WE PAID OUR MONEY IN NOVEMBER AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR GOODS! The installer promised to make the correct measurements and provide them to HD who would call me in 24 hrs. Three days pass and I go into the store to see what happened. Talked to Lydia in the door department and she had no clue what I was talking about. Spent about 2 hours of my life explaining to her what happened and she promised to have the issue resolved and the door should be in by Feb 12th. On February 15th we still have not heard from HD so my wife goes into the store and speaks to Lydia again who tried to pass my wife off to Customer Service! My wife had to get the MOD involved again and was told that his assistant would call my wife in 2 days to see where the door is located and when we could expect to have it installed. As of today (2/18) we still do not have the door!!!!! THIS IS SO UNACCEPTABLE THAT FROM NOW ON I WILL ORDER ALL OF MY SPECIAL ORDERS/CUSTOM WORK FROM LOWES! THIS IS NO WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS!"
