Of course you don't get credit when earning a reward pre-coupon. Just another way JCPenney is taking advantage of customers. You should avoid JCPenney as their whole sales process is too complex and always works in their favor when couponing, rewards, or just actual sales. It won't be long before they go bankrupt again with this kind of service."
