Reviews of Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet
"We loved this buffet experience. Lunch was about $18 per person, with drinks and desserts included. As a vegetarian, it was refreshing to have many options. The restaurant is very clean. The food is fresh and delicious. The staff was very nice and professional. We travel full-time and this buffet is in our top 3 in the US."
"We came here for my brother’s birthday. The pasta seemed to be watered down and the chicken was hard. Buffet cost is pretty expensive for the food quality. Anyways, when we were leaving we were told there would be an additional $25 charge because we were there 3 hours. What?!?? First of all, there is no sign anywhere stating there will be a $25 charge because you are there over 3 hours. None of us even went up to get more food after we were done eating which was after about an hour. We had brought our own cake which basically was our desert. We even brought our own forks and plates. My other brother had to speak with the manager to get rid of that $25 charge. Our biggest issue was if you don’t want people staying over 2 hours then there should be a sign!!!!! No where did it say that! Although, this is just crazy. We have never had a restaurant charge a fee because we stayed over 2 hours. Especially when you’re celebrating something! Just absurd!"
"Got some food to go. The buffet is definitely worth it though if you’re dining in. Great assortment of foods, especially if you are vegan or vegetarian. Their food is fresh, yummy, & substantial to get full. Lots of seating in the restaurant. Pretty spacious. Highly suggest the eggplant, baba ghanoush, avocado hummus, & falafel."
"This is my hands down favourite place to eat. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The entire place is squeaky clean. The food, oh, the food. Delicious is not a strong enough word. Treat yourself and go there! The variety is amazing, everything is fresh and hot. The salads are crisp and oh so tasty. Everything there hits the mark.I drive almost an hour to get there and I go as often as possible."
"I’ve been going to different locations of Dimassi’s since 2012, they’re salads, fresh pita and roasted chicken kept me trying them when the price was 8.99 per lunch buffet. I went this time after a long day, sat down and ate my usuals, it was good even though the pita wasn’t fresh, it was a slow time of the day and it made sense. Then I see they have lamb shanks upon request, I thought cool because I hate lamb and I don’t want to be charged for a luxury dish I didn’t even eat. It was 4pm. Lamb belongs to dinner hours. While I was still eating two men, a Caucasian in his 60’s and another younger man went to lay at the register, I heard him say “you can’t charge him dinner price, he didn’t even eat lamb, I did” and then they continued without any further discussion. Their price was adjusted by his request. It’s obvious when someone didn’t eat lamb because to request it, you ring a bell. When I went to pay for my quick late lunch they charged me dinner price, I mentioned respectfully I hadn’t had dinner price and she said I came at lunch hours. I paid $20 for food that was sitting there. For that price I could have gone to Chuy’s and watch my freshly made sizzling fajitas cooking at the moment. I could have eaten at a restaurant. For a buffet plate to cost 20 it has to be like Tokyo One used to be before the pandemic, seafood and a cook standing in front of every item making sure of freshness and service. I go to a location of Dimassi’s in Westheimer that has a drive through and they make a big fresh shawarma with hot French fries and a drink for 8.99. Lost a client"
