"i haven't visited a Mel rose in years. If you do go you will still be followed around the store and very uncomfortable. the selection is good though. quality of clothes is still the same. i would not buy a thing here at full price."

"I was greeted at the door...which was nice. The store is well organized but the racks are not spaced far enough apart for all of the clothing that's packed in there. The clothing is priced decently and they have a nice variety. The atmosphere is dim though (it's rather dark in the store)."

"I was initially really excited when I started looking around this store. They had really cute stuff for cheap, and were having a BOGO clearance sale. I found 2 dresses on a clearance rack with a "$10 buy one get one free" sign. Both dresses had $15 clearance stickers on the tags, but I thought, "who cares? that's still a great deal for maxi dresses." I tried them on and loved them, so I thought it was my lucky day. Then I went to pay for them and was told the total came to over $40. I informed the attendant that they were from the clearance rack and she acted really confused. Finally she got a manager to come help, and after deliberating for a while, she informed me that one of them was not actually on clearance and it would be $21.96, not $15, as it was labeled. I then asked why it was labeled that way, and she made me let other customers check out ahead of me while she went into the back of the store to "check on it." When she came back she just said that it would still be $21.69 and acted annoyed that I would expect them to honor their own price tags. Needless to say I left very frustrated and I don't know that I will ever go back."
