"The store was cluttered. The employees weren't friendly and seemed bothered when I asked questions about merchandise. They were rude and seemed very put out to help. I'm a frequent customer but after this incident I may look for another store to shop at."

"Big Lots was great as usual, where you can always find great deals. I recently moved and received a 20% off coupon in the mail. When I went to use it, the checkout person only gave me 10% off. Strangely, she never mentioned that she did it until I asked her about the amount i was paying. Her response was "these (moving mailers) should not have been given out. They should have been emailed to you, they don't work right." Her only explanation was she could override for 10% but not 20%." She mumbled about a manager but made no jester to get one. There were several customers behind me, so I accepted my 10% off and was grateful for that and left. Word to the wise be careful about anticipating this Big Lots will stand up to their marketing practices and offers."

"The young lady greeted us she was so sweet helpful respectful. Took the time to show us where some of the items were that we were looking for. Then she checked us out with a smile and always Thanking us and always come back and shop at Big Lots. She is definitely an asset to your company."
