Indiana Dunes National Park West Beach Bath House

"We love going to the beach to swim, fish, walk around & just have a good time together! The only thing I don't care for is the fact that you have to have a parking pass BUT they don't tell you where to get one. We just moved here last year so I still don't have a parking pass because I don't know where to get one from."

"Such a great hidden gem! My favorite staircase in the state. The view from the top is so rewarding. Beautiful beach area and all the amenities you need- huge parking lot, indoor bathrooms and lifeguards on duty in season. A slice of heaven on Earth"

"The trail had sand and board walk. Great view of Lake Michigan at the end! There was an ice cream stand , great to cool off after a hike in the hot sun."

"This was our first time to the Michigan beaches and it was an amazing experience. The Lake is huge and it looks beautiful just like an ocean. We decided to go to the West beach as that was what was recommended to us. There’s a huge parking lot with tons of spaces. There’s a bathroom right at the parking lot entrance and then another right before you get to the beach. The beach is pretty, water is crystal clear and it’s a family friendly environment. The only con is the $25 entrance fee. Would recommend checking this location out."

"This beach is amazing! It's great for the whole family including me and my two sets of twins!!! Emma and Michael, Annabelle and Johnny are begging me to go back this year! I plan to go this weekend! I searched up the pics from last year and I'm sharing the amazing experience with You! The parking is easy. Bathrooms are standard beach bathrooms, so bring flip flops to walk in there when you wash up. The shower water was cold. That was the only thing that they could enhance on. A better bathroom experience when cleaning up after a day at the beach."
