Portage Lakefront & Riverwalk is a popular park and tourist attraction located at 100 Riverwalk Drive in Portage, Indiana, United States. The institution is also a great spot for birdwatching during the spring and summer months, and observing shelf ice formations along the beach in winter. The park offers easy access to the lakefront and trails that showcase dune succession. A 3,500 square foot public pavilion houses restrooms, a seasonal snack bar, and a glass-walled classroom for meetings or events. While a portion of the Portage Lakefront and Riverwalk Trail is currently closed due to erosional damage, the pier access on either side of the closure remains open. Visitors can explore nearby hiking trails and enjoy swimming and fishing opportunities.

Beautiful place, restrooms, some parking available, but limited. Overall, I give 4 stars, and definitely plan to return. You should visit this awesome place too!"
