"The parking isn't great if it's even a remotely nice day but that's the only real issue. The park is nice and safe. There is a baseball diamond close as well. There are a lot of great food options close to the square that range from fast and cheap to sit down."
"Awesome Venue and easy to get to. Must visit again! The Riding Pony had the Absolute Best Beverages at the BaconFest!"
"Went for the Salute to Labor festival. It was nice. It could use some more food trucks and vendors. But all in all, for the first year it was really good. Had things for the kids to do (if you bought the 10.00 ticket) next year should be better. Definitely will go again! Had a great time!"
"I enjoy walking through the park. When I began my walks 2 years ago (November 2015), it was a wooded area with bathrooms and a splash pad. But now they are developing apartments and business places. There is now an amphitheatre, a playground, new fire department, and the police department has taken over what was "Portage University." So I guess it is nice. Seems well thought through development. I'll miss the days when it was wooded and I had AM walks all to myself. Visit and enjoy."
"The best part of this park is the Splash Pad. We have never been there when it wasn't running, so when other local splash pads are closed - we head here. The bathrooms are easy access/handicap accessible with benches for changing clothes. It is slightly awkward to get to- because it's hidden from the road. Nice landscaping and benches. Like others have said- needs more shade. Lots of paved walking areas. When it's busy, it is a smaller splash pad, so it does get crowded. I recommend this park to all my mom friends with toddlers."
