Reviews
"Literally only writing this to counter weight the only other current review by one Nadine Spelman. Reviewing a hospital for something that happened 28 years ago is irrelevant. Doctors, nurses, and staff all have likely been swapped out now and the building and its tech has gone through tons of uplifts to keep up with the times. This is why reviews should have a voting system. Enough votes saying a review is irrelevant should cause the review to be deleted."
"In October of 1991 my dad was admitted to this substandard hospital. The treatment he received was also substandard. His surgeon, Dr. Ishik Tuna, MD didn't have the slightest clue or knowledge of what he was doing. My dad was his first patient he ever performed unsupervised surgery on. He presented with "throwing blood clots", pain in his chest and his leg. After doing tests Dr. Tuna knew he had a torn aorta and a blockage in his leg. He opted to do surgery on his leg. This was on a Saturday. Our family drove down there Saturday from NY. When we got there my dad was laying in blood soaked sheets. The care he received was horrid, maybe I should say the care he did not receive. After constantly fighting with the nurses and the rest of the professionals that were in charge of his care and getting nowhere we were able to reach his GP on Monday. He rushed to the hospital to find the information that my dad did indeed have a torn aorta and at the point his survival rate was at 5%. My dad passed away as his GP was standing at his bed side with us in intensive care explaining just how badly Dr. Tuna screwed up and as he was explaining my dad died holding my hand. It was 12:00pm October 14th. We were sent to a "private room" where a nun and Dr. Tuna came in. His exact words were "I'm sorry. I screwed up. I should have addressed his heart and not his leg". My dad had no chance of survival with this hospital or "doctor". We ordered a copy of all of his medical records before we left Indiana. It was then that I realized the real extent of just how bad this hospital was. His medical records were changed. Even as far as meetings I personally had with nurses and supervisors. Everything was changed to benefit the hospital and its staff. I wouldn't take my worst enemy to this hospital or to see Dr. Ishik Tuna, MD..!!"
