"Bad place for kids. It was traumatizing for my son and he is 13. He never wants to go back there again. They were rude and didn't fix the teeth that needed the dental work the most My Son complained about the pain they inflicted on him without numbing him. They told him to calm down and that he was a big baby cause he couldn't handle the pain."

"Do not go here unless you are okay with abuse. I have audio recording of a young girl screaming in pain and the oral surgeon was screaming at her to stop and telling her she wasn’t in pain. But these are screams of terror. I had one tooth removed after her and he threw his hands up and said he wasn’t going to do the rest because I also said I could feel pain and the oral surgeon stated he was tired of dealing with people like her and I. HE IS SICK AND GETS OFF ON PAIN"

"TERRIBLE PLACE FOR ANYONE LET ALONE CHILDREN. This place shouldn't be allowed to be open. They told me my 5 year old son needed 8 caps on his teeth and wouldn't even consider doing a filing on any of them. They also pulled one of his teeth that I feel couldve been fixed with a filling. I've since went to carmi dental instead and they said my son only needs 3 filings and NO CAPS! now I feel terrible for taking him to Pippen at all. They are all extremely rude to me and my son AND THEY NO LONGER ALLOW A PARENT TO GO BACK WITH THEM WHICH IS COMPLETELY NOT OK. THEY SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.!"

"DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE, PLEASE READ! So my 2 kids (one is 17 and one is 10) had appointments here today. One was an emergency appointment because he has several loose teeth and the one in the front is hanging and kind of stuck between the old tooth and the new one growing in. Well the lady WOULD NOT LISTEN TO HIM when he was telling her she was hurting him bad. She was trying to get an X-Ray but her finger was pushing the stuck tooth into his gums. She was RUDE AS HELL to him so I stepped up and saw him crying so I told her about his tooth in the front hurting and she still was pushing on that tooth when trying to get the thing in his mouth. Then she had the nerve to say "I know my job" and I said "he is my son and your going to stop now." My son had to ask her to stop raising her voice at him. Not only was he in pain and crying but the thing she was putting in his mouth was making him gag so he told her that he felt like he was going to vomit. She got upset and went to talk to someone else that works there then came back and said "we will work on the other child but not this one". So I took my children out to the car and came back in. I demanded to speak with someone above her. The new lady walked in and I complained about her to the new lady. So the new lady ADMITTED to my face that "sometimes we do raise our voice at children and sometimes we hold their mouth shut in order to get an X-Ray". I was shocked. I still needed to get this looked at for him so I asked to have it done by someone other than the lady that hurt him and she said "ok but you won't be allowed back there with him". Sooooo I sent my 17 year old back with him. We got it done but although the last 2 times we been there they said he needed a tooth pulled, they said no to making an appointment with the surgeon and said that they will look at it again in march at his next appointment. That's 7 whole months away. I will never ever ever take my children back into this place and will be calling my insurance about this."

"I took my 4 yr old here to get a cavity capped on one of her back teeth. I believe I was more scared then she was and the dentist dr mills I believe was so nice. She was so good with my 4 y old when she stopped breathing in the laughing gas and started screaming and crying. She was very understanding of her feelings and mine cuz by then I was really freaking out."
