"I've always wondered if Bharat was really a real doctor. He misread my thyroid tests exactly wrong for years and mistook high TSH for a hyper thyroid, which is exactly opposite. I tried several times to tell him, and even brought in articles supporting MY correct diagnosis, which he dismissed. I suffered from depression, which has similar symptoms to hypothyroidism. After Pithadia let me get up to nearly 500 POUNDS, my therapist told me to switch doctors. I went to Dr Mannakis who was dumbfounded at my low thyroid levels. He put me on very high dose of thyroid meds and I lost 150 POUNDS in just over a year. IMHO, "dr" Pithadia is more than a quack, he's a monster who also ruined my marriage by putting my wife on Paxil, Wellbutrin and XANAX !! (look up the side effects of this mind bending mix) A VERY DANGEROUSE mix that any real doctor should have recognized. I can say with confidence that "Dr" Pithadia ruined our marriage and significantly altered our lives for the WORSE!!! Avoid this "Dr" at all cost. I think he get's his medical advice from Google since he always disappeared to his office for a few minutes after I told him my symptoms. I think he didn't look up my TSH because high TSH meaning hyper thyroid is easy to remember, despite being WRONG!!"
"My visit here was horrible. I’ve never had a doctor make me feel more uncomfortable than Dr. pithadia. He belittled my feelings and concerns and when I went to get a second opinion it turns out I DO need surgery. I won’t get into too many details but I’ll just say I’m glad I trusted my gut and got a second opinion. 0/10 if I could give no starts I would."
"Wow what a horrible operation. I moved back to Valparaiso and thought I found the best PCP for me since I'm a pilot and he does FAA exams. When you meet with Dr Pithadia in person, he's a nice enough guy and knowledgable. However his entire office is dysfunctional to me as a patient. 1st appointment took over a month to get on his calendar, which I perceived as a good thing. Once on his calendar for an FAA physical, I went through the office/nurse HNP/Vitals and vision test. I brought up to him that the eye machine was very dirty compared to my prior physician and it needed attention. He was very courteous and said sorry and would look into it. 2nd visit was annual physical and I have very minor meds that I was on from prior physician which he agreed with and said I should stay on. I had been on them for more than 10 years prior to this visit. We also discussed doing 2 appts next time for FAA/annual physical so I didn't have to drive in 2x. 3rd visit was a tele-doc visit, since I had Covid symptoms and he doesn't see sick patients in person - Uh.... imagine that a Dr that doesn't see sick patients. He was almost an hour late for the Zoom call his office setup. I called in 2X each time his office said any minute now, as it got to be 5pm, I was concerned I'd be on a bridge with no office. He did finally join and his diagnosis was right on and a few meds and I was a new man in 2 days. 4th visit was scheduled a month in advance I had to remind office staff we were combining FAA and annual physical, they had to get the Dr on the phone to explain it to them. When I get there we do vitals and start vision, machine 2 was dirtier than before, and machine one (per the nurse) had glue on the lenses and was hard to use. I tried the. readers on machine 1 and a column disappeared, nurse looked thru my readers and confirmed column disappeared and said, well.... other people use it so I need to figure it out. At this point I discontinued the physical and left the office. I would not have written this review, but, a week later no call or message from Dr Pithadia, asking what happened, but, a letter saying he doesn't want to provide medical care to me. Wow all I can say is this a cold, broken environment, I highly recommend you seek medical care from a practice that is in the business of caring for patients."
"I've had only very good experiences with Dr. Pithadia - I have even called the office very late, minutes from closing, and they stayed just to see me. As a cash pay patient his rates are more than reasonable - he's very knowledgeable and friendly. I have seen him for both a vasectomy and general health concerns. (He does have this quirk of being very THERE with you right until the end of the appointment, and then instantly he is mentally GONE to the next thing - it's fine but it's a little awkward, ha!)"
