"Had a great bike ride on my trip to Fort Wayne thanks to Fort Wayne Outfitters. The rental program was pretty simple, the staff were very helpful and got me set up with a good fit, and I had fun riding around the river trails. The river trails extend at least a few miles in multiple directions. The ride to Eagle Marsh was great. The rental also included lock, which was handy for stopping at a couple cafes. I recommend starting a 24 hour rental the day before a morning ride, so you can get an early start, as they don't open until 10am. My hotel even provided a safe and secure place to lock the bike up, as the lock probably would have been cut if it was on the streets overnight."

"Truly wonderful experiences! Our first trip, we rented two tandem kayaks and paddled with our 7 and 5 year old boys. We had a wonderful time. The boys enjoyed paddling, looking at turtles, ducks, geese and herons. The river is peaceful and calm, an easy paddle for all ages! It is an awesome way to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and everyone we saw on the water was so friendly and enjoying the calm! It was so enjoyable, I rented a solo kayak two days later and spent 3.5 hours on the water. Again, the peace and calm really provided an escape from the busy city and was a super fun way to spend an afternoon. Staff was great. Friendly. Helpful. It was fun!"

"Very friendly people and a cozy shop, situated right on the riverside. We rented a tandem kayak for 2 hours, got to paddle up and back with nice wildlife and wooded views. Had we gone the other way we could’ve seen downtown from the river. We’ll definitely be back."

"I had a great rental experience at the Outfitters today. I hadn't used their online system before, but it was super easy and convenient. No paperwork at all when I got there, just a quick check-in with some very friendly and polite kids who got me in a kayak and on my way in no time! There were a ton of other paddlers and party boats on the water, so I would suggest going on a weekday if your schedule permits. I like it a bit quieter...but it's nice to see so many people enjoying Promenade Park and the rivers."
