"Great store to get my Auto items and food items all in one stop. Plus my bleach tablets."
"The new layout is too much like a mall. Not cool at all. Please put it back, you also shorted the aisles with the big displays. The store is so busy, why can't we have aisles that two carts can be in comfortably? There's obviously room."
"#### Walmart at 10420 Maysville Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835 - Average Shopping Experience Rating: ⭐⭐⭐ The Walmart located at 10420 Maysville Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835 offers an average shopping experience. While it has its merits, there are also areas where improvement is needed. Firstly, the store is easily accessible with ample parking available. The exterior is well-maintained, and the layout inside is generally organized. However, there are times when certain sections can feel cluttered, making it slightly challenging to navigate through the aisles. The customer service at this Walmart is hit or miss. Some staff members are friendly and helpful, while others seem disengaged and uninterested in assisting customers. It would be beneficial for the store to focus on consistent training and ensuring that all employees provide excellent service. The product selection is decent, with a variety of items available across different departments. However, there have been instances where certain items were out of stock or in short supply. It would be beneficial for the store to improve its inventory management to ensure a more reliable shopping experience. The checkout process can be a bit slow during peak hours, with long lines and limited registers open. This can lead to frustration and a longer wait time. In summary, the Walmart at 10420 Maysville Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46835 provides an average shopping experience. While it has convenient parking and a decent product selection, improvements in customer service and inventory management would enhance the overall experience for shoppers."
"This one star review is specifically for the grocery pickup service. I don't actually mind the store itself. I have been using Walmart's grocery pickup or delivery services ever since the pandemic. I have not had any issues with it at all until my last couple orders. It has gotten so bad that I felt that I had to write this review in the hopes that somebody will see it in something will change. I started doing pick up instead of delivery because I could save the $10 on the tip by just going to the store and waiting a few minutes because it's not that far away from me. This was all well and good when I would only have to wait between 5 and 15 minutes. On my last three orders though I have suddenly begun having to wait absurd lengths of time. Three orders ago the issue was that some items had been missed and they had to go and get them which made the wait a lot longer. That's not a huge deal and I can understand a mistake like that. Two orders ago I was waiting and called in to check on my status in the queue because I had been waiting for like 45 minutes. The person told me that I hadn't even been properly checked in. At that point she told me that they would get it out to me as quickly as possible. After waiting another 45 minutes in (calling in two more times), they finally got it out to me. With that taking an hour and a half I could have just gotten the groceries myself and would have if I had any idea it would take that long. This most recent time I waited for an hour checking in every 15 minutes or so. I don't like to be a bother, but I wanted to be certain that I hadn't been missed like the previous time. On the fourth call they let me know that I was "at the bottom of the queue" and that there were people who were waiting for 2 hours at that point. The thing is though the only way I could possibly be at the bottom of the queue is if nobody else had shown up and checked in after me. I was in a good parking spot to see most of the grocery pickup parking spots. I counted 27 people arrive after me. In addition, in both spots directly adjacent to me, people arrived, received their groceries, and then left after I arrived. The person on the phone told me to either cancel my order or come back tomorrow and try again. I opted to cancel my order. I actually needed those items. I drove 15 minutes to the nearest Kroger and bought them there instead. From here on out I intend to double check how much an order will cost by inputting the exact same order on Kroger's website. I will only be purchasing from Walmart if it is significantly cheaper. I will also be only doing delivery as I'm not going to waste my time anymore. I will tip my driver, but I will do so in cash to make sure that Walmart can't skim from the online payment (I don't know if they actually do that, but I know some places do.) If you are another potential customer thinking about doing an online order, just be prepared that you may have to wait a very very long time."
"This Walmart was recently remodeled, which included the addition of lots of self checkout machines which I think is great. There's also an area on the market side right as you walk in with easy grab n go snacks and drinks for short trips."
