St Mary's Surgicare

"The admission in the surgical team were awesome but the hospital only be opening for five weeks there were glitches with the Wi-Fi and the phone lines and the computers which caused issues after the surgery we chosen to stay overnight my husband had back surgery and was needing some more care the surgical nurse herself had to take my husband up to the third-floor because they could not get in touch with the third-floor and after we got up to The floor it was mostly dark and after finding a room and going into a dark room probably the first time it had been used it was when the nurses came in with no personality no compassion and no greeting of any kind they were rude when asked if my husband would be getting a dinner plate and after he was put into his bed the door was shut and no one came in to check on him I needed a nurse assistance I rang for the nurse to help my husband to the restroom it took 20 minutes and no response so I myself had to unhook his leg monitors and plug his IV pole and help him to the restroom myself at that point I decided we were going to leave and I would take better care of him at home it was very upsetting I give them a one star for the nursing care on the third floor I get my five for the surgical team and also for the wonderful nurse that they got to help me with my husband to the car when we left I’m sure they pulled up their best one that is what a nurse should be like compassionate and caring because of their actions and us having to go home my husband ended up in the ER at the other Saint Vincents that night to get a catheter placed it was the worst experience I have ever had at a medical facility I am 62 years old and I’ve been around a lot of hospitals that was pathetic I hope no one has to endure that"

"I really had a great experience at St. Mary's surgicare! Checking in, Pre-op, anesthesia, the whole surgical team, and my post open care was all excellent!! I would recommend this facility to everyone!!"
