"Boyfriend and I rented our first apartment together and it was a small 1-bedroom, $495 a month apartment. Let me tell you EXACTLY why I would never recommend this place to anyone else. 1st off when we first moved in we noticed one of the outside window panels was broken. I told them about it(which they'll probably deny as they have done EVERYTHING else on here because they truly cannot own up to anything) and no one ever came to fix it. The next thing to go south was our stove. It barely worked and when we got a replacement THAT ONE barely worked as well. They didn't test it or anything before they left, they just plugged it in and left. FINALLY, the straw that broke the camels back, I found a bedbug on our couch months before we moved out, just one bedbug. We didn't have bedbugs before moving in so I was really shocked. I cleaned up a little more as our living room was already cleaned but after that discovery I cleaned up even more. I called a pest control person and they came by but saw no other bedbugs. Then, a friend, a couple of weeks after that was at our house and he was on the couch and seen a bedbug. My living room was clean then too. I called a pest control company and the guy came out. Turns out that guy's brother in law lived in the EXACT same apartment as me 2 years ago and also had a bedbug problem and moved out within two weeks. The property place was informed of this bedbug problem and they had someone come out to treat it. We cleaned up and put stuff away like we were told and that was that. A couple weeks later we were told they would be coming to do another treatment so again, we prepared everything, put things away and that was that. This past October we get a vacate notice saying that because we didn't "prepare" our apartment that we had to be out within 14 days. Well, I gave them a little piece of my mind about it and they said they would reconfirm with the pest people. They emailed me back a couple of days later and they said that pest control basically stuck by their decision but probably because I called pissed off we were given 30 days to vacate instead of 14. I told the property place how ridiculous this was and she proceeded to make the bedbug issue our fault by saying "It's not fair to the other tenants", in other words, it's our fault that we keep having these treatments because of an issue that we didn't cause. Oh and she also called the pest control guy I had called originally, a liar basically by saying they didn't have bed bugs 2 years ago....But seeing all these reviews of the same bedbug issue from even longer than 2 years ago, I can officially call bullcrap on that. These people do not care about their tenants or the conditions of these apartments they allow people to live in and have the nerve to call everyone on these reviews liars, basically, because what these former tenants are saying are not accurate. I mean come on, no business is that frickin perfect, every business has flaws but for them to sit here and shut down every single one of these negative reviews shows that this is the kind of business you do not want to be involved with because they don't know how to own up to anything because they need to protect whatever crappy reputation they have. -1000000/10 would not recommend. I wish I could give this place zero stars."

"Ok, first off if a property takes Section 8 Housing to assist with rent, they must be a HUD approved property. This means they must provide certain things. The property we were leasing was a Studio Apartment at $525 a month, all utilities included. But if you were going to use AC you would have to pay additional monthly fees. Ok, but the windows had no screens in them. You couldn't open them. When I asked about that, the Property Manager said the tenant could buy portable screens & place those. I said, it wasn't up to the tenant to buy screens for their building! How could they charge extra for an apartments utilities when they aren't making that apartment livable as listed? Then it was insisted Move-In not be delayed. But because of their hast appliances weren't property checked out. The refrigerator & stove didn't work. All food was last in the fridge. Slightly over a week a new fridge was then placed in the unit. Property Place's care for the pocket far exceeds their care for their tenants."

Getting ready to start 2 jobs making a little over $2000 a month. Would like to know also if you work on like payment plans for the deposit."
