"I absolutely love this clinic! The receptionists are always friendly and helpful. I've been working with Dr. Christy McLaughlin and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. She is truly a gem and has been a blessing in my life! She is so warm and kind hearted, and she really seems to care a lot about her patients' wellbeing. I am repeatedly impressed with her willingness to go the extra mile and to do anything in her power to get things addressed. I'm so incredibly happy I found such a great provider here in Lafayette."
"I actually feel like I’m getting somewhere! Been trying for years to get the right medication, jumped from doctor to doctor always being told “I’m not sure what else to do”. Christy was able to come up with a plan almost immediately and I haven’t felt this relived during a doctors appointment ever."
"Dr Kaelin is very good"
"I’ve never even had the chance to find out if they’re as good as they claim to be. I got on their waiting list and had been on there for a very long time. It’s my turn, they text me..that’s fine, I prefer texting. She lets me know there’s an appointment available in the next couple of days and do I want it. Absolutely, yes! Then she comes back and says I have to come up with a $65 deposit. WHAT??!?!!??! I’m on social security disability. Very limited income and don’t have a $65 deposit. She said, “ I’ll take you off the list” and that was that. Not another word from her, even after I replied back to her that I truly needed that appointment. They’re all about money is what I take from this. Sure, you get it back, so they say, but if I don’t have it to put up they figure that’s more important than my mental well being? Nah. Don’t need that type of “help”. I’ll drive 250 miles down the road to get decent help before I would ever consider going here again. I’m glad this happened! Let me know what type of people they are. The ones I want to avoid. Oh and I have a primary AND secondary insurance and my deductible has been met. So they would most definitely get their money for any and all services rendered. But they won’t now or ever. Find another place to go, even if it means having to drive a ways down the road."
"Christy McLaughlin is a gem, and I will continue to see her for as long as I possibly can. She is thorough, caring, and up to date on the latest treatments. She always makes sure my meds are covered for 90 days. She is available when I need to see her more urgently. Christy is the best prescriber I've ever had, and I've had several. I don't care much for administration. Any time I ask someone a simple question, it always gets redirected to the same manager. Getting her to answer basic questions is like pulling teeth. I've asked her a couple of questions about my account multiple times and never got the answers. I also once overheard her and another office worker loudly and openly bad-mouthing someone. Unprofessional. I've been billed a couple of times when I shouldn't have. I had to go back and forth several times while receiving conflicting explanations for the charges before they finally corrected their mistakes. Now there's some supposed requirement for patients to keep a credit card on file to be billed two days after each service. Well, my insurance doesn't reimburse within two days. Give it two weeks. I called to ask if some exception could be made due to the reimbursement turnaround, and the lady just said, "Yeah, I don't know. Other patients have been getting that notice too" and had no other knowledge about it. Overall, Christy makes the experience worthwhile, but be forewarned that management will probably drop the ball with you at some point."
