"Agent not even trying to understand my question......my son lost his OCI Book and unfortunately we did not record the number of the OCI so we could reference it to make a case for lost document .... not sure whom I need to contact now ....ridiculous service"

"They lost my passport. Do whatever you can to not use this company. I used VFS to submit for a marriage visa, everything seemed smooth until it came time to get my passport back. They messaged saying my passport was in route and 2 weeks later it is now lost. UPS is their courier who was involved. I spent over $400 for this visa and now am on the hook to spend $500 or more to try and get a new passport and visa issued before my trip in a few weeks. They don’t respond to phone calls or messages either. I have tried to reach out multiple times with no response. I also tried to submit a refund request, but conveniently when I tried the option isn’t able to be accessed on their site. If I’m even able to get these documents before my trip I’ll have spent double what it should have cost and experienced hours of time wasted stressing over this. I also now have to take time off work to make it for an in person passport visit. The ability to continue with our wedding as planned is on the line and this company can’t even care to reply. I should have used someone else."

"NO TRANSPARENCY, BLATANT PROFITEERING. A company that has been given infinite power by governments to exploit desperate immigrants. You will be asked to enter a credit card number for any interaction with VFS representatives while they are in possession of your passport for services that are ESSENTIAL to immigrants and citizens. When you are contracted by governments to serve their citizens you NEED to have transparency without exorbitant costs. Deeply unethical to people that have no other options. You'd have an easier (and cheaper) time getting information with a Right to Information Act filing. EDIT: I filled out the Indian passport enquiry/complaint form but it will never allow you to submit it and will state that there are "special characters" in the text when there are NONE. Again designed to funnel citizens into their paid call line. VFS responds to these complaints with IDENTICAL responses either via bot or copy/paste as seen below."

"Understaffed. And may be this was one off but the payment system was hung for more than an hour and evryone had to wait. I had a flight back to west coast and just barely made it. Payment system never came up but they did give the receipt coming out of the machine, nothing for tracking."
