"I used CIBT twice in 2023 for a 10-year visa to travel to China. Long story short, we followed their instructions, and included a required letter, saving a hard copy of the submitted documents. Both times, their advice was faulty, and the issued visa was a single entry. I emailed CIBT about this, expressing my disappointment. A CIBT employee claimed that in the second instance, I had not submitted a required letter, contradicting the hard-copy records we kept. These communications were unhelpful and unprofessional, and basically called me a liar. I was only asking them to resubmit it, and I even offered to repay the consulate fee. It was impossible to get resolution; I emailed three people higher up in CIBT, including people who have responded to other complaints on Google Reviews and at the Better Business Bureau. None of them responded to me, which I felt was extraordinarily disrespectful, on top of the mistreatment and poor advice I had already received. In the end, the two failed visa attempts wasted >$1000. Given the frustration, poor client care, stonewalling, unhelpful interactions, I would say to avoid this company completely."

The other was less attentive with responses. Overall recommend for speedy service. Got my visa within 2-weeks after submitting all requirements."
