"I hired Hughes Socol Piers Resnick & Dym after I was involved in an auto accident. The individual that hit me was intoxicated and left the scene of the accident. I began working with the insurance company of the other driver, to try and the matter on my own. They downgraded the value of my vehicle, wanted me to stop my doctor appointments, and then offered a very small amount of compensation for my injuries. They didn't seem very concerned about my injury. Prior to this experience, I had never hired an attorney or been involved in a lawsuit, so I was hesitant to start this process.
