"Children’s Plano has superb nurses. The nurses that we’ve had have been amazingly patient, caring and diligent. However, my experience with the front desk personnel on 2/8/14 at 12am another story. It’s unfortunate that we still have those who treat others based off their own stereotypical and prejudice beliefs. Immediately I was asked to sanitize my hands which I have no problem with however it’s when I’m the only caregiver asked to do so! If that wasn’t enough she she again offered sanitizer after signing electronically on the pad. Then continued. Then of course we’re asked to verify the wrist band and sign this was the absolute disrespect to me she reached to grab the pen and signed for me! She refused to put the wristband onto my son wrist also! This behavior offended both me and my son who’s only a child. It’s disgusting and really uncalled for. I really do hope that this is addressed. Thank you for the opportunity to voice my opinion I can only pray no one else has to go through the same experience."

"The hospital staff is amazing. My 4 month old son was admitted this afternoon for RSV symptoms and we never had to sit in the waiting area. We were in and out of the ER and into a room in less than 2 hours. They have been so kind and compassionate during such a scary time for us. He is doing much better already. I am now confident that with their help he will make a speedy recovery"

"My daughter still in the hospital, my wife and I are driving two hours to be there. Doing everything possible to be there with our daughter. Without even seeing her discharged and they were already calling to collect a payment. They have no consideration with parents. It's all money. But I tell you something, I will never take any of my children there again."

"I have been to this ER with a few of my children over the years and the care we receive each time is unparalleled. Every single person that works there is incredible and a hero in my sight. I have heard some complaining about the wait times and if one considers the population increase we are having in Texas and in addition the convenient location of the hospital, it makes sense. The wait is worth it for us every time. Thank you to all of the staff, doctors and nurses for all that you do. Also the registration ladies are great and the kind man who showed me where the phone charger is. Wonderful experience!!!!! I thank God for this quality medical care in our area!!!"

"The doctors and nurses here are just the most amazing people. They go out of their way to make sure that we have everything we need to be happy and comfortable. Not only did they take amazing care of my daughter, they also made sure that my husband and I understood what was happening and that we were taken care of. These doctors and nurses are just absolute angels and we could not have been in a better place. My daughter was very, very sick and they took amazing care of us."
