"My husband chose this horrific hotel on Expedia! We payed in full. Apon arrival the room was very disgusting the walls have fluid from food on them the head board was disgusting there was hair all over the shower floor as well as we weren’t comfortable bringing takeout back to the room because the fridge and microwave as well was very dirty! We never got any service in the four nights during our stay. We had to walk down every day to complain and beg for the room to be serviced. Every-time we were promised that this would happen we come back from our business meetings and the room was untouched. Trash piling up for days loads and loads of dirty towels. They also gave us two wash cloths and two towels a piece every day we asked as if we were children. The staff also asked for us to bring the dirty linens down. I explained this is not my job and I am out of state on a business trip. I did not come from South Carolina to work here! We we also not be booking with Expedia anymore either this was a horrific experience. Staff was terrible!"
"Booked on Expedia and paid in full. When I arrived the hotel surprised me with an additional $100 deposit. I argued this was not mentioned on Expedia and I couldn’t cancel bc I would lose my money. That was an under the table technique to get you to book a night and then surprise you with the extra $100 hold once you arrive. Let me make it clear, the hotel is responsible for letting ppl know this ahead of time and it was not Expedia’s fault. The entire hotel smells like bug spray. Not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing if you know what I mean. Furthermore, the pictures online look way better than the rooms. The only good experience I had here was the nice woman who checked me in."
"Friendly check in. Nice clean rooms. Lots of hot water for my bath. We skipped the breakfast so I can't comment on it."
"Good hotel, good staff, pool was nice looking but I didn't have time to try it out and probably too cold, I went on the last day of October. Big bathroom, big room, had a desk and chair, fridge, microwave, and another chair. Room was very good and clean."
"We were in Montgomery for a Women's Conference at one of the local churches. I reserved our room on July 21st, 2023 via the 888 number. I booked a standard double room with 2 queen beds for 4 people, but once we arrived to check, and the guy, whose last name was Patel, asked for my information which I provided. He looked at my information then stated " I booked the room only for 2 people therefore I had to pay 40.00 extra" . The total price in July was $138.55. He then went on to say" Ma'am you must pay $100.00 dollars for a deposit because we don't allow pets and no smoking but you will get it back when you leave and this is our policy". We were extremely upset which led to intense understanding trying to figure out this policy. We used this same hotel last year for the Women's Conference, but it was Baymont during that time, and we didn't have any problems " whatsoever. The owner who is a female was so rude, which led to us calling our Pastor back home. He said for us to stay but we would not use that place again and since there's a women's conference in Montgomery, most hotels are full but we will be calling corporate because this shouldn't have happened since we were here for the Conference. When we finally did get to the room, it smelled terrible like a musty odor. We had to clean the room and bathroom first. The beds were full size not queen size beds. We took pictures if we needed to send them. I was told in July that we would have hot breakfast but was given a bag to-go breakfast. Our stay there wasn't pleasant at all. I was a travel nurse for 12 years and stayed in several hotels ( privately owned and chain, and I never had a problem)."
