Key West Inn - Montgomery South 4135 Troy Highway, Montgomery, AL 36116

"By far the worst place we have ever stayed in the last 40 years and I have stayed in some less than desirable places. There was mold in the ceiling in the bathroom. No towels, no toilet paper, no shampoo, no garbage can, it was dirty, the ceiling was coming apart, broken light fixtures and broken desk. Though the sign says free breakfast they said it was temporarily suspended though you could tell it had been years since they offered a breakfast. Then after we were there for a couple hours we went to use the toilet and the previous guest vomit was all over the toilet seat and on the floor. It took an hour for the staff to come to the room to clean it up. In addition the tub took an hour to drain. I feel filthy just writing this review. Oh, and to top it off there were non-gentleman callers coming in and out all night to rooms next to us. Don't let the online picture fool you. This place is disgusting and the owners should be ashamed of themselves to even offer rooms like this to the travelling public. It was late and we needed to get some sleep which is why we stayed here. We would have been better off sleeping in the car on the side of the road."

"The room was not cleaned and had no towels, shower curtains at all,bugs in the sink,the checker was nice but wouldn’t recommend."

"NO, NO, NO!! The TV didn't work, there's no coffee maker, the room had OBVIOUSLY not been cleaned. There were NO towels & NO toilet paper!! The black mold in the shower is hazardous & the front desk lady was extremely rude! (Not that I could get to the front desk, as it's shut down, she finally handed me a roll of tp through the door). "Poor! Poor! Poor! establishment. Entire property smells bad with cigarettes, filthy with cigarettes with remains and other dirt on the exterior of property. No basic hygiene (soap, lotion, tissues, exc.). The most disgraceful thing is that you have to ask for pressing iron. Also shower room, shower curtain cover with black mold. Also, shower tub was poorly draining."

"When arriving we got our room keys we opened the door and turned the lights on and left to get food because we had been driving for 8 hours. When we got back from picking up LITERALLY TO GO FOOD we started looking and checking everything. Lifted up the mattress and there was black dots all underneath. When pulling the cover back there was fresh blood on the sheets and blankets. Cigarette holes in the blankets and no drawers in the dressers. When going into the bathroom the toilet seat had pee on it and was stained. The bath tub had brown streaks all inside of it and hair from someone shaving still inside. This place was horrible so we went back up front and asked for a refund since we just drove 8 hours and didnt want to stay in a disgusting hotel. The worker which was a 23-24 year old male proceeded to raise his voice and tell us he isnt giving us a refund due to policy we signed. Mind you WE NEVER SIGNED A POLICY. We did not get a refund but we still left so we can feel save and clean. Word of advice DO NOT STAY HERE!"
