Americas Best Value Inn Montgomery (Extended Stay)

"Horrible. We were given the wrong room and opened to a man smoking in there. Who knows if they were going to give the wrong room to someone else again and they will enter our room while sleeping. The beds didn't even have mattresses, they had boxsprings instead of actual mattresses. Seems extremely sketchy and unsafe, there was even police circling the hotel and I can see why. A bunch of cars with broken windows we even left this hotel immediately because we are not going to risk a stolen car or even worse that we get murdered or something. Something straight out of a nightmare, Do NOT come here."

"The location is dangerous. I don’t recommend. If you go out the inn there are plenty of old buildings and you should be very careful not to be thrown things from above. The hotel itself is very old and pictures not look like the reality. Bathroom had many signs of burnt cigarette through the room was no smoking. The room smells awful. Nothing good to say about it."

"It should be called America's Worst Value Inn. I am not exaggerating when I say this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! Ever! Yes, my husband and I were looking g for economical because we were in Montgomery for only two days for a service project at a women's and children's shelter. But we did expect at least the bedsheets and towels to be clean or at least look clean. There were stains on the sheets and black streaks on the white towels. I made the mistake of pulling by the fitted sheet and there wasn't a mattress cover. We went to Walmart and purchased towels. I covered my pillow with a Tshirt. We had some friend that had booked a room but they didn't stay because there wasn't a lock on the room. No kidding."

"This may be the most disgusting hotel on the planet. Booked for 5 nights for 2 adults and 2 children and the room was so gross if we hadn't been on the road for 10 hours and it was almost 1 am we would have immediately left! There was 1 dirty washcloth and 1 dirty towel in the room. There were crumbs in one bed and what looked like a blood stain and cigarette burns in the other. Mold on the wall, the microwave and refrigerator were gross and words cannot describe what the carpet felt like. The drawer in the nightstand had something in it that was a mystery as to what it was. Both my granddaughters cried themselves to sleep because they didn't want to be there. When I checked out the next morning the clerk refused to help me makensurebi would only be charged for one night (which I was charged for the entire 5 nights) I've filed a claim with Sonesta, the parent company of Red Lion. I'm also going to file a complaint with BBB. In addition thisbpropertybos nothing the best area of town and the safery lock was broken. The room was at the very back of the property where no one would ever hear someone calling for help. Being 2 women and 2 young girls this was very disconcerting."

"The guy running the place was very accommodating. He got us what we needed and was overall friendly. At first glance the room was clean, the beds made with clean sheets . The bathroom needs to be redone, there mold or mildew in the grout on the tub, there was no trash can, or bags, and one of the towels had mold on them. The floors could probably be mopped as well."
