"I came to this office for the last time in January of 2020. I had pain in a chipped tooth that I went to get checked out and had one of the worst experiences of any doctors visit. I’ve been seeing Folke since I was a kid. He regularly sees my grandfather for his dental work. Despite this I was treated with an immediate attitude from Folke, treating me as an annoyance. I was told that there was no reason my chipped tooth should be hurting and that it’s probably my allergies( which I do t have in January). I got the vibe they thought I was trying to get pain meds. It’s 3 years later Folke. My tooth still hurts and it’s not my allergies. Yo should be ashamed of treating any patient in the way that you did. I will never return or recommend this dentist. Thanks for nothing."

"Dr folke has been seeing my 8 children since they were babies and they still come back to him as adults, he is very gentle and the staff is great, Lori has been there since I can remember and she is the nicest receptionist I have ever met!!!"

"Dr Folke was our family dentist for almost 10 years until we moved out of state. He is a very thorough and thoughtful dentist. He always went out of his way to make sure we had the best dental care. His staff is wonderful and caring! Wishing I had continued to drive the 45 minutes to his office. A recent and very frustrating botched crown experience lead me “back” to Dr Folke. Let me just say, I’m not letting the distance influence my dental decisions again! Dr Folke did an amazing job! Needless to say, I am a regular patient again. Thank you to Dr Folke and his staff!!! "I’ve been a patient of Dr. Folke for more than 10 years and have found him to always provide excellent and thoughtful care. I’ve had serious dental problems since childhood, so Dr. Folke has had to perform a variety of procedures, but he always explains what’s needed, offers options and lets me decide (although, of course, I almost always go with his recommendation.) My greatest appreciation is for his care to avoid pain! I had 2 teeth extracted two days ago and, as the novacaine wore off, I realized that once again I was not feeling any pain. I took an Advil before going to bed for the inflammation, and woke up the next morning still without pain. This reflected all of my experience with him across the years. Additionally, cqompared with other dentists I’ve seen across 30+ years in Valpo, Dr. Folke’s charges are very reasonable, and he offers payment plans when needed. Finally, his staff is wonderful and I’m grateful for their good attention and care as well!"
