"The feeling of contentment when getting your teeth cleaned and feeling comfortable in the dental office is as important as feeling at home. In my opinion, Dr. Wong is an excellent and professional dentist who provides me with detailed information about the changes that could cause issues in the future. The assistant office personnel in her office are also professional and informative, making patients feel comfortable. Overall, I believe that Dr. Wong is the best dentist."
"the nurses and Dr. Wong explained everything they were going to do as they were doing or being starting to do it which helped my anxiety A LOT...they also did not talk down to me about any of my teeth issues, it was more of a "we are a team" thing and working out a plan. "I have severe dental anxiety. Before any dental appointment, I always inform the staff. At my previous dentist, this was respected. However, I am disappointed with Dr. Wong's patient care. I was told I could raise my hand whenever I was uncomfortable and that the procedure would stop. However, when I raised my hand during the numbing portion, Dr. Wong removed the needle from where she was numbing and continued to place the needle in other areas several times as I continued to try to get her to stop. This caused me to have an anxiety attack in the chair. Dr. Wong showed no compassion and made no apologies. Despite this, the other staff were great. The dental hygienist, in particular, was warm and kind. She talked to me throughout the rest of the appointment and comforted me when she could tell I was nervous. Overall, this was hands-down the worst experience I have had at a medical or dental appointment. I feel as if Dr. Wong did not respect my boundaries and did not display appropriate patient care."
