"Please be very cautious when choosing this place for aftercare or summer camp. My son was using the bathroom located in the red room, and because no one was watching, another boy went in and tried to do inappropiate things with my son because my son was told he couldnt lock the door. They were in the bathroom for 13 minutes before someone discovered the other boy missing. I still dont know what happened in that bathroom. This has apparently, according to my son, happened more than once. The counselor was 2 foot from the bathroom door! unnacceptable! 0 stars"
"My oldest daughter went today to use the pool, and the staff were incredibly rude to her just for unknowingly bringing the wrong membership card. I understand wanting to make sure people have a membership, but there’s absolutely no reason to be a rude as they were just for a simple mistake! Rather than simply call me or my husband to verify the account, they kicked her out of the facility. We will not be keeping our membership any longer if this is how you treat paying guests."
"Horrible management and constantly dirty locker rooms. There are much better, cheaper gyms in Alabaster with much kinder and more helpful staff!! Don’t give these people your money. I had a mix-up with my card and despite paying for a full two-person memberships, was *aggressively* kicked out after having already been there for 30 minutes at the pool, without being given the chance to even explain or resolve the issue! They literally acted like I was a criminal, it’s insane lol. Don’t waste your money."
"The staff is so kind. The gym is we'll equipped. Never too packed. Always super clean.. the machines and equipment are constantly being cleaned by staff. The locker rooms are always clean/being cleaned. Their learn and play ladies are so sweet to my little girl while I work out. They offer great classes. I could go on! Love my gym."
"Staff is super friendly(mostly) and machine are well maintained. Overall the amenities are great! I’m not impressed with some of the trainers they have employed there. I’ve witness on several different occasion the trainers ignoring someone who obviously needed assistance. Whether it being someone having zero knowledge of how to work a piece of equipment or someone not using proper form and packing on too much weight. I mention this because I had to assist these individuals and inform them on proper ways or form. On more than a time or two. I do this because I was once a trainer and I was once at that point when I needed help. I have a bachelor degree in exercise science and have a few different certifications. So maybe I can be a little tough. On the other hand these trainers were all over myself when removed my shoes do a few sets of calves. Makes me wonder how educated these guys are. Regardless of education, that plays no role in seeing a person who needs helps and bypassing them to advise me to put on my shoes."
