"My family loves going here! Location is important (it’s close,) but there’s also A - A large but easy trail system that has cool art pieces and activities (although the activities are mostly broken now. I wish a scout team would make it a project to fix them up or parks and rec would!) It’s easy enough for a toddler to walk. B - Then the main park area has a tiny playground, with swings and a play area with a slide. C - They have a free little library and I LOVE those!! D - They have bathrooms that aren’t completely disgusting (although they are extremely hot during the summer.) E - We haven’t had a chance to use these facilities yet but there are, i believe, 3 maybe 4 fields for team sports play."
"Super fun. Took my 2 dogs there and they loved it. Lotttts of dogs there, our dogs don’t mind other dogs but I can see where it wouldn’t be a good idea to bring dog aggressive ones. (As there was one there)"
"I really wish the playground was newer. Most people come here for a quiet walk or picnic. There is a straight mile long easy gravel trail. The beginning of it has sensory activities for kids and a free library."
"Beautiful, peaceful park. Both a paved walking track and a gravel trail that runs by the creek. Playground equipment (handicap accessible too) and workout areas. Trails and track are both shaded, so your walking experience is more pleasant in the summer. Keep an eye out for wildlife while you're there. I spotted a red headed woodpecker."
