"Maintenance is terrible, we’ve had a leak in our ceiling from the roof since March of 2023. This has resulted in a literal hole in our ceiling that constantly leaks and mold growing around the wet areas. We have put in multiple requests to get it fixed (mentioning mold) and have had multiple calls into the office and get left with nothing. Management simply does not care. This is in line with all the other reviews I have read."

"I have lived here for a few years. Apartments are beautiful and reasonably priced (given the market). However, staff is virtually unattainable. Calls go unanswered, maintenance has absolutely no follow through, and the lack of any notice for construction around the complex is missing. This leads to deterioration, and ultimately, the beautiful appearance not being held up. I have been continually disappointed by this property and have no wish to continue residing in a community that does not care about its paying, loyal tenants. My advice for those looking to rent is to start with the staff and assess their behavior to find out if it will be a comfortable environment for the length of your lease and if you wish to renew after."

"Maintenance requests take quite a while here. I have service requests pending from maybe 2/3 week we moved in. We have floorboards that were ripped up before we moved in and nails sticking out of the floor which have not yet been addressed. One technician tripped on them walking out, said he would fix them, and never came back. The cabinets are peeling and the apartment wasn’t clean when we moved it. They threw on a cheap coat of paint that was marked up before we even got here and the entire apartment was still dusty. Main concern however is the smell of smoke coming through my restroom. I’ve had to call at least 4 times and submit a request until someone came a week later, just to spray some wd-40 and say their hands were tied and will escalate with a manager. Will the technician was nice, but shoe covers should be worn in the apartment. Out of the 6 different complexes I’ve stayed at this is the only one not to provide them to their technicians. The fan most likely needs to be replaced and a damper needs to be installed. Not really fond of the idea of allergies and a cancer from second hand smoke every night."

"Yikes! Beacon Hill’s poor management constantly shines through. In our time there alone we had or witnessed a broken HVAC system for 2 months in the summer, a plugged dryer exhaust that was never fixed, a flooded bathroom wherein drywall was ruined and filled with mold (never replaced, holes still in the walls), leaking windows, overflowing trash heap, the list goes on. Good luck getting maintenance out in a timely manner. They are understaffed, under-payed, and under-equipped and it shows constantly. The manager Amy is worthless, rude, and is a constantly throwing drunken parties in her apartment. For the money, there are certainly far better places out there, especially with their most recent price hikes. Now that we live in a new location with actual competent management, we cannot believe what we tolerated here. And we pay the same price!!! Stay away!"
