"Front desk receptionist was friendly & attentive. However, facilities are in dire need of updates & thorough cleaning. Great selection for breakfast, steer clear of frozen fruit & cardboard muffins. Room keys demagnetized in less than 5 minutes, as did the person in front of us. Not exactly sure what's going on with water (see attached) There was a thermostat on the wall & there was another wall mounted system under the window next to the bed. That just goes on/off on its own. None of the buttons work. Around that fan/stem is not sealed or insulated. It's at least a twenty degree temp drop on the side of the bed closest to the window. I just used the extra blanket to throw around this to try to offset this, as it was 4am when I realized. Spaghetti mess of cords next to the bed caught the attention of my 3 year old right away, so we blocked that off w our suitcases. At 9am Sunday, we enjoyed the pool to ourselves. Pool water was warm & loved the design of pool room, but it was pretty dirty, no towels, the filter is obviously not adequate, as there was a great deal of synthetic & natural hair floating from night before. As we were getting in, I couldn't help but notice you can see underneath the double doors and it's letting cold air in directly at your face level. The rooms do have a refrigerator and blow dryer, but they do not have a microwave. Came to relax and Hyatt missed the mark. Disappointing, because we looked at 3, 4 hotels before deciding on this one. I don't appreciate MacGuyvering my way through a stay, especially with kids! Will update review to include how long the $50 deposit actually takes to be credited back to account."
"Calling this a 3 star hotel is as misleading as the new sign on a dump that’s just lipstick on a pig. A wad of something resembling used toilet paper came out of the hide-a-bed. Someone stuffed Kleenex back in the box. There were stains from other people’s heads on the headboard. Breakfast had a chance to redeem the stay, but apparently they don’t restock. My kids couldn’t get orange juice, I had to spread butter with a spoon, and my wife had to eat cereal out of a cup. Waiting 40 minutes they never brought out more eggs or muffins, I couldn’t even get a cup of coffee 30 minutes before breakfast was supposed to end. We probably should have figured it out when they informed us at the desk that there was a mandatory security deposit on top of the room rate and taxes. It wasn’t in the reservation, emails, or anywhere obvious on the web site. I’ll give the actual hotel a pass for the kids running the halls and screaming all night and the clowns sucking off a skunk in the elevator, but we will happily avoid “new” Hyatt hotels for future stays."
"Liked the room setup with the couch and desk. Great hot breakfast. Pool was cold though. And our room phone didn't work, and some exposed wires on the heater/ac. Overall clean decent hotel. Would stay again."
"I enjoyed my stay and the free breakfast! The beds were comfy and the room was clean. The walls were thin though you could hear babies crying and kids running in the hall. I do wish the pool was heated as it was a bit cold and that could be from the draft in the windows. Overall a great budget friendly hotel!"
"Stayed in the hotel from Dec 5-10 for a business trip. During five days, room got cleaned and towels and mugs replaced only once! House keeping is not available after business hours, so getting stuff that was missing from the room when I was back to the hotel in the evening was not possible. Breakfast was OK, even though the same exact every day. The coffee was either cold or finished. One morning I told the receptionist that there was no coffee, she thanked me for letting her know but nothing got done about it. The room was spacious and quiet. It was clean except for the carpet that had two patches of sticky stain. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a weird size, almost square instead of a rectangle. The location is convenient, close to FCA headquarters and there is a beautiful lake behind the hotel. It is not walkable."
