Northville Woods

"I had a reservation for a unit for months but because a previous tenet refused to leave they backed out and did not give me a refund despite telling me they would. As my move in date approached they did let me know of the issues they were having and I understood the situation and made several feasible suggestions that would make me happy but I was told their hands were tied by their bosses. They suggested alternative complexes that my reservation could transfer to but those were in different cities, and they also offered a more expensive unit but could not match the price. My reserved unit was changed at one point and when they ended up having problems with it I was told they can't switch it back because they already gave the previous unit to someone else. That means they dropped my 5-month reservation in favor of someone else's who couldn't have had it longer than a few weeks. I was assured at least a partial refund but did not receive anything. It was close to $240. I've done what I can and it didn't work out. It happens. But they won't make it right and at this point I know they won't so it's safe to say I'm unhappy. They seemed to act like my frustrations were an inconvenience for them and that I just don't understand how it works. I'm sure there are many residents here who had a completely different experience but that is not how it worked out for me. One star is deserved."

"We have lived here for over a year now! We absolutely love it. We plan on staying another year. The people in the main office are super friendly and helpful. This has been the best experience we have had renting so far. Angelic is the best!!!"

"I currently reside in a three bedroom unit at Northville Woods and have lived in this community for three years now. Until about six months ago we were considering moving out of this community due to the lack of response and follow through when we brought up concerns and we are happy to report that has now changed due to new staff. Trisha, Angelica, Derrick and Richard have all come on board relatively recently and it really has been a complete turn around. Trisha and Angelica always respond promptly and efficiently to our concerns and have gone above and beyond to clean up the mess their predecessors had left. Derrick and Richard have shown up immediately when we express any maintenance concerns and if they cannot fix it themselves, they get an expert in. Myself and my family are so grateful to finally live in a community with a staff that truly cares about the property and it's residents and we are extremely relieved/content that due to these changes we no longer have to move. I now highly recommend this community and really cannot say enough good things about the employees who now work here!"

"Northville Woods has been a good place to call home the last 3 years! The community is nice, I enjoy living close to downtown Northville. The new office staff is helpful and kind! Angelica and the manager have been very responsive and responsive whenever I call! The apartment is very spacious, and maintenance has ever improved as well since I first moved in! This was already a nice community but they have been making some nice improvements, and always do different fun things for the residents! Overrall this is a good place to live! "This place is horrible. They lie and try to trick you. Horrible move in. All pictures were taken at move in and wasn’t ready in time. They Told me I couldn’t see the apartment or like apartment before move in date. Neighbor said the apartment had been empty for a few months. Upon move there was holes in the wall, horrible patch work on drywall, torn screens, paint all over the floor, garbage that still sits outside my window for almost a year now, but OMG don’t put a unused, cold BBQ grill on your patio, that would break your lease! There was 4 different employees that had left in the time I started talking to the apartments to the day of move in. Now my lease was up in December and I signed to extend and again they screwed me! Now they immediately raised my rent before my pervious lease expired late December. The pool was closed all summer, although this outrageous rent was suppose to included this amenity. No discount of course for broken amenity I could never use. I can’t wait to move from here! Nice quiet neighbors, good maintenance for the most part. Company is only out to screw their residents! Barely above slum lords! Stay away! You deserve better! You can too rent an apartment too for only $1850 mo. What a joke!"
