"Very terrible experience. didn’t calculate my stubs correctly. and very rude receptionist: I was told last week that my check was sent out and should arrive any day. Called again today, and was told it haven’t left the office in Florida. was told I’ll be getting a refund in less than 2 weeks. and it’s been over a month."
"Very nice apartments! I love the balcony & the apartment is spacious for a 1 bedroom. Maintenance & office staff are phenomenal & very helpful with anything I need addressed."
"We lived here for 2 years and I gotta say it’s a pretty great complex. Having moved around a lot and lived in many places I am happy our last complex was the wind song. The staff is so great and friendly. They constantly are doing events for their tenants and, go above and beyond. I love that they care about the people who live here. If I ever had any questions or concerns they were able to help and properly explain. Every place has some issues, but for me a good staff, and honest company is what makes a place worth staying or dealing with and this for me was one of those places."
"I've been living in this complex since 2016. The rent was very affordable and reasonable back then but has been increasing making it a bit less competitive compared to other areas. Jill and Cathy have always been very helpful and respectful. The maintenance staff are friendly and super responsive. The apartments are quite old but they make a lot of renovations and improvements all the time. My shower goes back and forth from cold to hot since the beginning but I've got used to it after so many years (LoL). The biggest problem with this apartments is that their heating is controlled centrally and in cold months you need to wear warm cloth inside as the heaters are turned on a bit late in the year (may be cost issue). Some residents have somewhat aggressive dogs which I wish they were not allowed. This is not a place to throw party and make noise. Fortunately the management interferes quickly and removes trouble making residents. I think overall it's a reasonable place to live given it's located in Pontiac. -- Emry"
"I lived at the Windsong apartments for a year and I loved it. The apartments are located in Pontiac which isn't the best area but with Oakland University down the road I felt a lot of the residents were students. I lived in a one bedroom apartment alone which was unrenovated to keep the price down. The apartment itself was okay, the kitchen is small and the dishwasher was older but it cleaned my dishes all the same. What made my living experience amazing was all of the staff. Kathy and Jillian were in the office and they were more then helpful anytime I needed anything. The maintenance staff made me feel safe in the complex because they were all so nice and friendly. The maintenance staff would answer any complaint I had within hours of my call. The grounds were always kept nice and snow was always plowed the day or night it snowed. When I moved out of the apartment Kathy and Jillian made it so easy. They used my security deposit to pay my last water bill so I didn't have to worry about doing it and they mailed me the rest of the check to my new address within less than a month. The staff also left me balloons on my door for my birthday and always had fun things to do in the complex to bring the community together. Kathy and Jillian truly care about everyone in the complex and go above and beyond to make it a good place to live. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone I knew."
