"These people should actually pay you to live here. I signed a 1 year lease at this complex and I am breaking it because they are terrible to their tenants. They are awful at filling maintenance orders, at times things took months to get fixed or they just never did. Upon move in I was told that a beam on my back patio was not stable and was going to get fixed. It has been 7 months and they haven't even gotten a quote for that to be done, I have even had to remind them multiple times, and nothing. My car got mistakenly towed for "not having a pass on" from my own parking lot, but it did have a pass, and I was forced to pay grahams $200 and the complex refuses they have anything to do with the towing company or do anything to make it right, I had video proof. There was also multiple other people from my complex that had the same experience and never got help. If you care about your tenants you care about their property and they don't. I am breaking my lease and paying thousands of extra dollars simply because living at this place is a constant stress. You never know when you'll come outside and your car has disappeared or when SQUIRELLS HAVE CHEWED ALL YOUR TRANSMISSION WIRING lol they have a squirrel problem, they do nothing about it. This is the only review I have ever written and that should speak for how poorly residents are treated here. Also, if you're still thinking about living here, they only have 1 trash can so unless you feel like walking 10 minutes to take your trash out, you have to drive it over. You get charged for that on top of rent."

"if you don’t want to get taken advantage of dont move here. Ive been living here for a few years and my rent has went up by a landslide, our apartments where left with only primer on the front for about a year. It was so embarrassing knowing i pay this much for it to look like this. Ive had a rodent problem ever since I moved here.Thank goodness I have a cat because my house would be filled with mice! They never even tried to help with that problem, the maintenance, horrible they dont care at all. Towards the end of the summer I had multiple bees come into my room and it got so crazy I couldn’t go into my room had to call them FIVE times and I had to speak to a maintenance man face-to-face in order for someone to come.It took THREE times and almost 2 months for them to just patch up a hole they already knew was there and they never patched it. They just let me know I have to wait til a dead roadent turns into skeleton for the dead smell to go away they cant do anything at all not even try to see if they can see it I stay with my mom here and I tell her all the time she needs to move out but its soo hard to find a house while still living in these expensive apartments for no reason. My apartment in Concord had less problems than this place. DO NOT MOVE HERE."

"Walls are paper thin, I hear my neighbors all day. Bad squirrel problem in the walls making noise all night in building 13. I’ve had a live squirrel get into my apartment and they didn’t have someone show up for 8 days. They will tell you they can fix the problem but it’s been YEARS and it’s worse than ever. You must get the carpet professionally cleaned or rent a cleaner and give them a receipt in the move out instructions. This place is honestly a joke. They’re desperate for money charging a fortune for apartments that literally have animals chewing in walls. They do not make the moment right or compensate for any problems and mental distress they cause. My issues were dismissed for years. If someone would’ve helped me with the struggles I’ve endured living here I might not have even shared my awful experience here because writing this is a waste of my time. The thousands of dollars I’m getting charged to break my lease (my choice I was aware of) is the best decision I’ve made since living here. I feel it’s only right to share my experience. Save yourself the headache and live somewhere else. You’ll just get a “sorry your experience with us was so bad, we have reached out already and will do absolutely nothing but make it look like we care”. Do better."

"We’ve lived here about 2 and a half years now and there’s been numerous issues. Our air was out a good amount of the summer and every time we tried to get it fixed the maintenance person would say it’s working fine despite our apartment getting up to 86 degrees. The only reason he ended up fixing it is because he had to work on our sink when a pipe burst and flooded our kitchen and he was covered in sweat after being in the apartment for 30 minutes working on the sink. I was borrowing my mom’s car and it got towed because I didn’t have a pass despite my neighbor being outside and telling the tow truck driver that I in fact was a resident. Management doesn’t care and says “we’re a towing community so there’s nothing we can do about it.” They wont give me a temporary parking pass while my car is getting fixed either."

"I've lived here for five years, I'm moving out this month and I will MISS IT. Pros: + It's safe and people are super friendly. + Surrounded by green and forest with trails, it's peaceful. + Close to WMU campus and downtown Kalamazoo. + Front desk staff is amazing and always answered my questions fast. + Maintenance staff is wonderful and fast, always get the job done. + Pool is clean and never overcrowded or noisy. + Updated appliances, great balconies. + Pricey compared to others, but worth it. Cons: - Floors/ceilings are paper thin, pray you don't get noisy neighbors. I struggled with this constantly, but the staff is willing to hear you out and help. - No rules on smoking. Neighbors below me smoke and it comes up through the windows and floor. - Close to WMU campus, sometimes fireworks from games, events, or loud students Overall rating, 5/5, I recommend this place highly!"
