"We decided on finally redoing our Kitchen. This is a huge decision in any home as we are all uncertain as to how it all works and the decisions that need to be made. We met with Andy the owner at Michigan Kitchens as the first contractor, he was very to the point on what takes place and when. He came over and measured our kitchen. A couple days later he sent 3D renderings on the design that we talked about. It was all that we were asking for. We then went to a few other contractors for other Quotes, Ultimately reverting back to Michigan Kitchens as Andy was the most honest and gave us a great price. Andy and his team Nazzar and Don showed up on time as expected and did the demo in one day. They were very courteous to cover the floors and shut off the kitchen to try and help contain the dust. They would leave daily letting us know what the next steps they were going to accomplish, so we knew what to expect and when. The whole experience with Michigan Kitchen was a great experience and we reccomend anyone to sit with Andy and you will be at rest on your Kitchen remodel experience. They replaced our old hard wood and carpet with new vinyl plank flooring. They completed our kitchen in a very timely manner. Taking advantage of this opportunity, we decided on getting some upgrades done at the same time to our small kitchen. Because of reading prior reviews and having a much shorter lead time in getting ordered cabinets in, we decided to check out, and eventually went with Michigan Kitchen Cabinets. Andy and his team did not disappoint! He suggested some design changes to change some of the original layout which worked out well. And even though we were probably one of his smaller jobs, he was always very attentive, quick to reach if I had a question and made us feel like he was giving our kitchen the same care he would give a much larger job or even his own kitchen. They cleaned up at the end of each day so we weren't tripping over a something or tracking a mess throughout our house because of the remodel. And because MKC could also handle the plumbing and electrical needs themselves, it made things so much more efficient. You always hear horror stories of unresponsive contractors that take your money and then stop answering your calls and this was something that always worried me when hiring someone.
