"I got ADD testing from this place and it was an ok process. They took forever to send me my results and I had to call them multiple times for it to be sent claiming “I never directly asked for it”. Also their billing processes is are extremely unjust. I spent 300 dollars out of pocket just to sit with someone and talk about what I wanted to accomplish. I thought that was for the testing, until they sent me a bill for an additional 1000 dollars, my insurance sent me an eob for 500 dollars I owe them after they covered a certain procedure. But these people refuse to accept what the insurance has sent them. They tried to add additional fees and Ive paid them what they are owed yet they continue to send me bills for the amounts that were already covered by my insurance. They are shady and I cant imagine what they do to people who actually need help and have mental issues and cant stand up fully for themselves. This has been going on for months and I wish anyone who needs help look to see if there are any other reputable places to get your testing done."
"I recently underwent ADHD testing at Neuropsychology Associates and unfortunately had a highly unsatisfactory experience. Firstly, after completing the tests, I was provided with no information about the results, leaving me in the dark about my own assessment. Furthermore, during the process, the doctor made inappropriate comments about my appearance, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere that should never be part of a professional medical setting. The financial aspect was equally frustrating. I was assured that my insurance was accepted, paid my copay as instructed, and was told I had settled all charges. However, a couple of months later, I started receiving calls claiming I owed more money. This contradictory information resulted in me being sent to collections, and now I am facing an unexpected and unjust $40 monthly charge for ten months. Neuropsychology Associates has proven to be unreliable, lacking in communication, and has caused unnecessary financial stress. I advise potential clients to be cautious, as my experience highlights their failure to provide essential information, maintain professionalism, and manage billing accurately."
"Horrible practices in regards to the referral process. Held referral for nearly 3 months and when speaking to someone on the phone was told that they determined "this Monday" that they were not going to accept me as a patient because they didn't have the resources to do an ADHD & PTSD Assessment. Three months is not an acceptable timeframe...it's only my mental health!"
"If I could give 0 stars, I would. I came here for some testing to see if I have ADHD. The staff put me through 3 hours worth of tests that told me nothing. Then, I got a bill from my insurance stating I owe them $1,000+. They NEVER gave me a heads up that these tests wouldn't be covered by my insurance. I feel completely taken advantage of. I will never go back to them and they've made me hesitant to trust anyone in their field moving forward. Horrible experience."
"Dr. Kevin Kunzer is an excellent physician. He listens to his patients and works to collaborate on the best approach to treatment. In many ways Dr. Kunzer saved my life. I give him 5 stars, however, neuropsychology associates staff frequently refused to refill my medications if I was unable to pay a co-pay. They made this decision WITHOUT discussing it with Dr. Kunzer, whom i had already discussed this with, and left me without my medication countless times. They are more concerned about getting their money than they are about the safety of the patients. Thank you Dr. Kunzer for your compassion, professionalism, and follow through!"
