"The sushi that we got tasted fresh and was done pretty quickly (about 30 minutes). They don’t do a very generous amount of spicy mayo, but we also probably could’ve asked for more. Provided the great location, good food and overall dining experience we will definitely eat here again. At night the waits do seem to bump up and they do make you wait outside (we noticed). So just be aware of that."
"Possibly the worst dining experience i’ve had. First time going- we went for lunch, all 3 ordered various bento boxes- 2 arrived & then waited 10 minutes for the 3rd to arrive… 2 of us almost done eating by then… my salmon had no skin?= overcooked & dry, all the tempura was cooked at the wrong temp= was greasy & limp not crisp- see pic… when pointed out to waitress is when things got bizarre- no apology which would have sufficed, instead rudely rolled her eyes, grabbed a bento and bolted- this person should not be in a service position. $56 later we left stunned at how awful the experience was."
"I tried the California roll with fish egg, the shrimp tempura roll, and 3 pieces of tuna sushi. The California rolls used a sort of crab salad and didn't have cucumber in them. I liked the fish eggs. The shrimp tempura also had the crab salad and the shrimp were very tiny, but the roll was huge (can't fit in the mouth). Tuna sushi was good, thin, but good. Server was nice."
"I had takoyaki balls as an appetizer followed by a scallop roll, a diablo roll (torched) and a garden roll. The takoyaki balls were really good. They come quite hot so careful with that first bite. The sushi rolls are all quite big in quantity and quite good. Mia was a wonderful server. She was very attentive and made sure the meal went as pleasant as possible."
"I would highly recommend this restaurant. The inside had a cool modern vibe. Cozy and dimly lit, with large windows on the oposing wall. We sat outside with a group of 6. We went during the tulip festival and were able to watch the parade from our table. Every person we interacted with who worked there was very friendly. The food was delicious. It was a full house, and they brought our food relatively quickly. We ordered fried rice, sushi, and a bottle of wine for the table. I'd go back if I was in the area. It's a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal."
