"This restaurant is one of my favorites. I’m a Grand Rapids resident, but I come out to holland frequently and we stop in at least once or twice a year. Very fair prices and great staff. It is a little cozy space wise, so be prepared to wait a little on Saturday. Well worth it. Great experience."

"So glad a local recommended the hashbrown casserole with sausage gravy on top--Absolutely delicious and filling. Ordered the mini size and still had leftovers. He also said the cinnamon roll was a must and it was very tasty. Great food and service. Location could use updating and very small location but the food makes it an absolute must go."

"Love this place!! It has a very cute and cozy interior, and was beautifully decorated for Christmas when we came. The service is also great, very friendly. We ordered the deep fried cinnamon roll which was absolutely delicious, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, definitely worth the 2 hour drive from Chicago! If you’re a savory breakfast person, I recommend the Holland omelette. A good tip: if you come on the weekend, plan ahead and be prepared to wait outside for a table as they will not take your name or a reservation."

"The Windmill Restaurant was so delicious and well worth the wait. We only waited about 20 minutes on a busy Saturday morning prior to being seated. We had the Birds Nest meal and Hashbrown omelet. Both of these meals were so tasty and unique. It's definitely not something you can find at every diner. The coffee was hot and fresh with plenty of refills available. 0verall, a great breakfast spot!"

"It's a classic and the best breakfast in town, bar none. Service and food are excellent - highly recommended the hash brown omelet with sausage. Many of the staff have worked there for years and are familiar faces. Be prepared for a little bit of a wait in line to get in unless you get there early."
