Boatwerks Waterfront Restaurant

"I went there on Saturday, February 3, to celebrate my daughter’s birthday at about 5:00pm. At first, I was a little sad that they told us the wait was about 60 minutes, then 5-10 minutes passed, they suddenly seated all 7 of us. So happy about that! My favorite appetizer to get there is the Candied Bacon Brussels Sprouts; it was so delicious! We had an awesome waitress, Aliyah (sorry if I misspelled your name). She was very kind and sweet young lady… and very patient. I also ordered their Signature Burger and it was amazingly delicious! The bacon with the sweet glazed onions was great! I would definitely order that again. I just found out that they give you a 50% off your meal if it’s your birthday! Since my daughter ordered N.Y. Strip Steak, they gave my burger meal 50% off (can’t do 50% off steaks). You can be seated outside. I believe there’s a fireplace and heated seats outside, but double check with them first. I would definitely go there again. The atmosphere is cozy and romantic. Great place to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries."

"Beautiful well appointed restaurant with great timely and helpful staff. I didn't particularly love the French Dip sandwich or the sweet potato fries (too thin and overcooked), but there were a lot of different entrees between the members of my group which I was lucky to sample and I think if you order anything besides the French Dip sandwich you'll have a wonderful meal. The Soup of the day which was a butternut squash base was amazing. They also seem to have great periodic specials that are quite affordable and great value. I am most definitely coming back. Worth checking out!"

"My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Boatwerks Restaurant in mid September. We had the BEST experience working with them. They were very easy to work with, accommodating, and responsive. The staff is AWESOME to work with and very friendly. The wedding turned out so amazing and I highly recommend anyone considering to have their wedding there to do it! You will not regret it. On top of the staff and everyone being very easy to work with, the venue is so beautiful. We knew we wanted a venue that was outdoor but wanted indoor capabilities just incase of weather. Luckily we had awesome weather and it worked out perfect to have their slide in doors open all night so we had a great summer breeze. IT was the best night of our lives and Boatwerks staff and venue played a HUGE part in that."

"Our experience at Boatwerks Restaurant in Holland, Michigan left us with mixed feelings. While the view from the restaurant was undeniably stunning, our disappointment stemmed from the fact that we couldn't fully appreciate it. Despite their claim that the patio was closed, we observed that half of the tables outside were occupied, and patrons continued to enjoy the beautiful view until closing time. To make matters worse, we were seated at a high table with our 6-year-old right in the middle of the bustling restaurant, which was far from the serene dining experience we had hoped for. We politely requested to be seated by the windows so that we could at least partially enjoy the view. Surprisingly, there were several empty tables by the windows, and even parties arriving after us were accommodated there. Our wait to be seated, which took around 40 minutes, tested our patience. On a positive note, our server was friendly and attentive, but the same couldn't be said for the hostess. This dining experience left us feeling that Boatwerks fell short of delivering the relaxing meal with a view we had anticipated."

"We ate lunch out under the canopy (in the shade) and it was wonderful. Brochette appetizer was wonderful with a mix of tomatoes and strawberries truly unique but wonderful. Wife and I both went for the brisket tacos. They were delicious ! If you don’t mind direct sun eating outside is great I could definitely see it as a issue on a hot evening but that’s me. Indoor dining is a option. We will be back, our food was wonderful."
