"I had the chance to check this out yesterday in downtown Holland - and here is your sign to go yourself! The service was amazing from start finish and my margaritas I had were the bomb. We tried the (super teenie!) tiny tacos, the brussels, and the papas brava. Not pictured is the obnoxiously good short rib we also had. It's a great place to meet friends to share small plates and grab drinks for the night - my only 'complaint' is in line with a lot of the restaurants here in Holland, it feels a little overpriced on some items BUT the flavor is worth every penny! Go check it out!!"

"I took my husband to Poquito for his birthday dinner last night. His only request for his birthday was somewhere with scallops, and unfortunately since they're hard to get, the restaurant's main scallop dish wasn't on the menu currently. Our server Annie was FANTASTIC, and asked if the chef would make him a small scallop dish, and he delivered! Everything we ate was phenomenal, and the whole staff even obliged my request to come sing happy birthday to my poor husband :) I highly recommend this restaurant for any occasion. (We got the brussel sprouts, the garlic shrimp, the warm goat cheese (our favorite!), and the braised short rib, and we got the blood orange margarita pitcher!)"

"I post reviews as information not to be mean. The atmosphere is amazing, make certain you make reservations ahead of time because seating is very limited. We were excited to try the amazing menu so we ordered everything on the seafood menu for the adults and chicken tenders for my granddaughter. We were informed they were sold out of the crab dish so given the amount of food we ordered it was not a problem. The garlic shrimp & ceviche was amazing, however the server forgot to put in the rest of our order as well as our grand daughters dinner. After an hour the server told us he forgot to put in the order and if we still wanted to order it would be another 30-45 minutes. We left there at 10 PM starving and our grand daughter crying because she was so hungry. The manager was amazing and very apologetic. I would recommend going earlier in the night, we had an 8:30 reservation, but could not get seated until almost 9:00, at 9:45 it is last call to order any food and that is when we found out we would not be having dinner tonight."

"The food was amazing. Absolutely incredible. The warm gooey cheese was a favorite - definitely order this! The service was good, but not the quality I would have expected. I like the relaxed atmosphere of tapas, but the whole place felt a bit chaotic. We did find out from the server (after asking - he wasn’t complaining!) that they were understaffed. Understandable! But you are also able to take less reservations then - don’t put it on your staff to make up for the understaffing! It would also be more understandable if the regulars at the bar weren’t being served way faster… Again, I want to reiterate that our serve was incredible. He just had way too large a work load. The other strange bit was that because it’s a small space, you can really hear everything. When employees are arguing, even in jest, that noise carries. Additionally, even though we made it clear that we had a reservation and the hostess acknowledged that, they did not mark it properly with OneTable. I now have to submit a review to OneTable so my ability to make reservations through that app in the future is not jeopardized. A few things to note if you are planning on going… 1) The online menu does not necessarily reflect the actual menu 2) If you ask for extra crackers with the charcuterie board, you won’t be told but there is a charge. 3) If you make a reservation, MAKE SURE they mark you as present! We do look forward to coming back on a night they are fully staffed!"

"Blown away by the unique flavors and overall birthday meal experience we had here! We got reservations easily, sat down and from the beginning it was great service and amazing food courses one after the next! We shared the paella and while I would’ve loved a bit more chicken it was really tasty! Staff was awesome, and went all out to show my wife a special experience for her birthday. We will be back, and I highly recommend you try this place asap!"
