The Schofield Residences

"I lived at the Schofield for 4 years in first a one bedroom and then two bedroom apartment. I can't praise this place enough. The location - In the summer you can walk to nearly everything downtown has to offer - Voinovich park is right down 9th and was my favorite place to enjoy good weather. In the winter you a steps away from playhouse, and E 4th street and the stadiums - I'll miss not having to get in my car for days at a time. The staff - I can't even begin to describe how amazing the staff are and the high standard they hold themselves too. The front desk, security guards, maintenance, cleaning staff, everyone treats the residents just as if they were a high end patron of the hotel. One example I will always smile about - after 4 years we had some trouble with a washer - we put in a request - an hour later maintenance was there who found an issue that likely wasn't a quick fix - within another hour we had a new washer in it's place. Over 4 years I can attest that this was the norm of how this place operates, and I don't know anywhere else downtown where you will find this type of stress free living. The apartments - the quality and luxury of these apartments is just amazing. Everything is high end, appliances, cabinets, counters, windows, paint, even the door hinges were lush. The sound deadening in this apartment is a work of art in it's own - I'm not exaggerating when I say you could set off fireworks in your apartment and not wake you neighbor - in fact you may forget you have any until you pass them on the elevator.
