Hyatt Regency Cleveland At The Arcade

"The area is nice and the hotel is beautiful but I wouldn't stay again. My room didn't have a closet and my light switch in my bathroom had to be clicked on and off two times to finally turn on each time. If you're on floors 2-4 and they have an event in their main space, the music and DJ will keep you up into the late hours and you don't get much warning. I stayed for work and they had two events in one week that ran past 10 PM and I was exhausted and couldn't sleep. It was really frustrating. The staff are nice and the valet is quick, definitely has pros and cons."

"Amazing space but not much to talk about regarding the hotel, really. The beds were comfortable, with four super squishy pillows, the TV was large, good smelling soaps in the shower, and facing the E. 4th Street side gave us plenty of sunlight. But kinda empty experience overall. Best part was being centrally located to most of the attractions of downtown."

"Loved the the overall vibe and it is a super pretty hotel. The only huge issue is parking. They charge $42 a night to vallet Park and if you want to park in the parking garage nearby, it's similar if not more !!!! We already paid over $500 for two nights and now they want to charge $42 a night on top of that. Also the mall portion seems to be maybe going under as on a Friday. There was not very many people there. Overall not worth the money!"

"Not very impressed with this Hyatt Regency level hotel. Everything was mediocre. Only luxurious part was the aesthetic of the main arcade. Service: Some of the staff on duty was professional and greeted us in a friendly manner. During check-in we were told the bare minimum to get us to our room, locations, spa, coffee, lounge situation was not explained. Nothing personal or service oriented. Amenities: Very Nice Gym with a pleasant aesthetic and very clean. Spa is just a separate business located in the same building. It was unfortunately closed over the holiday while we were there. Morning coffee was provided in the "lounge" but was empty and not being refilled for long periods of time. Also no trash cans. People were forced to leave their cups and trash on the counter. Room: The first room was tucked in a corner with a small window facing an alley, very dark. Asked, and was switched to a higher city view double bed. More light and a very enjoyable room. Great Beds and nice HD TV. Bathroom is dated with stains and yellow gooey spots on the ceiling. Empty shampoo bottles. Sink drains extremely slowly, is clogged. Spotty towel. Building: Very beautiful arcade common area. If there is a wedding, expect very loud music late into the night. Our room was in an adjacent building and was isolated from the noise. Location: Cant ask for a better location in the city. Parking: I self parked 4 min walking distance away for free. Overall Takeaway: I have recently switch to try Hyatt and this is my first Regency. I wanted a romantic warm friendly place to relax with my wife. This seemed a mediocre hotel on par with a Holiday inn in any southern states."

"My husband booked a room here for my birthday. (He also booked some services at the spa nearby!) We had a wonderful stay. The staff was awesome and the location can't be beat. The arcade was gorgeously decorated for the holidays. I was given champagne and chocolate covered strawberries, too - it was so nice!"
