Hotel Indigo Cleveland Downtown, an IHG Hotel

"There is absolutely no parking available, only valet which cost $45. The room was dirty and had dried food on the counter. The room smelled musty and every time the heat would kick on it smelled like it was going to catch fire, also making a terrible mechanical noise. I notified staff and their response was “we don’t have any other rooms and maintenance won’t be here till tomorrow.” Oh and the walls are paper thin, you literally hear everything from every direction. When we went to checkout, the valet was backed up an hour with about 50 people standing around waiting for their cars.. this place is a nightmare and you couldn’t pay me to return here."

"I would totally give 5 stars ⭐️ but the elevator was scary. At one point one of them was not working and the one I was in with 8 other people (not in my party of people) was jerking and dropping. All of us got off and took the stairs. Perfect place for attending a concert, show, or sports event at Rocket Mortgage."

"Location for sporting events of Playhouse Square is great. Very small room, too small for a family of four. Finding hairs in sheets that do not belong to us. Restaurant is overpriced with small portions. $21 for pasta with one meatball and a tiny sliver of garlic bread. The sauce for all the pastas is spicy arrabiata. $6 for a tiny side salad. $4 coke, no refill. Slow service when there were only about eight people in the whole place. We’re booked her for two nights, and if there were any way to escape without paying a cancellation fee, we would in a heartbeat."

"Phenomenal restaurant staff!Housekeeping needs improvement. At breakfast, the waitress asked how my night was. I said the room was a bit loud. She immediately had the room changed without being asked. I loved that it came up naturally because I probably wouldn't have said anything about that otherwise. The overall customer service and hospitality of the restaurant staff far exceeded my expectations. One waitress was so attentive Wednesday evening when I stopped by for a quick dessert. She made some suggestions to help get me closer to what I was craving without having to go out in the cold (impromptu root beer float.) Her demeanor was also so pleasant and open, like a family member was taking care of me. Both rooms I stayed in had globs of shampoo/soap dried onto the shower floor. You could tell it hadn't been scrubbed between guests. Also, in the first room, I found dried rose petal crumbs in my sheets, and it looked like the floor wasn't swept. I'm pretty sure the bedding wasn't fresh, so I slept on the top sheet because I had come in later than expected, was sick, and just needed to sleep. Hopefully, the next time I visit the housekeeping will be better. That one detail changing would make it a 5 star experience for me. Thank you, restaurant staff!!!"

"We just spent 2 nights here for our 2 year anniversary, even with the construction going on, our stay was incredible. View wasn't the greatest out the windows. Staff was over the top nice and we felt so special at so many different moments. Perfect location for the hockey game we went to, literally right next door to the hotel. Went down and got some of the breakfast buffet and that was good, server was super sweet. All around a good experience. Thank you to the hotel and staff for a great stay for us. Will definitely be back."
